This thread is meant to be a place for people to ask questions and request discussion about existing page images they have concerns about; this can be used to determine if a thread should be made to replace an image.
For example, questions about Just a Face and a Caption concerns, whether a picture requires additional context, whether a picture demonstrates all of the necessary aspects or a trope, or whether a trope better demonstrates a related trope can be asked here.
That was my concern for me on the IP thread that voted in the image. I don't like it, but it was voted in anyway.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.If it has an IP note, then there's not much room other than making a thread with a more distinct replacement.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupNone of the images (except maybe the fourth, I'm not familiar with it) match the description of "object in the eye as a Mark of the Supernatural", and even if they did none of them show that. Hmmm.
I'm personally okay with In Place of an Eye just being an appearance trope considering having an object instead of an eye is very striking. But either the image needs to be replaced, or the description needs to be changed.
I'd rather change the description to rephrase Mark of the Supernatural part, because the rest of it goes for "unusual inhuman appearance" and not "it's magic", but that's for a different thread.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupIs Pushy Gun-Toting Villain very unclear to anyone else?
Silver and gold, silver and goldNot for me
That one has been bothering me for months but I wasn't sure if it was just me being thrown off because General Finch there looks so much like the more famous heroic character of Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart that it needed a caption felt off putting to me but I wasn't sure how big a deal it was? The fact that it needs a label note around that probably doesn't help I definitely think we could find an improvement.
So I can't think of anything right now... meh.You can't really tell if he had a good reason for pulling his gun out from the image alone.
Welcome to Corneria!LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe.Anime And Manga: is the pink blob the shield...?
It's whatever is coming from the actual shield he is holding I think. Not a good picture either way.
Macron's notesExtremely low-res, shouldn't be difficult tp find something else considering the work
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI think the orange is some sort of magic shield and the pink is magic hand glowiness, but yeah, it’s rather confusing.
back lolIs Unnervingly Heartwarming hard to figure out exactly what's going on to anyone else other than me?
Welcome to Ideal's WorldPushy Gun-Toting Villain is relying on the caption for context, plus the quality is really bad.
For LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe.Anime And Manga, the shield is too obscured by what's going on, and the quality seems really dodgy, too.
Unnervingly Heartwarming makes sense to me due to the contrast between the hug and the blood.
Started a thread for Naïve Everygirl [1].

The image for Hard on Soft Science:
...I don't get how this relates to the idea of making fun of "softer" science.
Thanks for playing King's Quest V!It's comparing economics to black magic, but I see that the image is a little bit too implicit. Wouldn't pull without a replacement.
I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.I don't see what soft science is there and how it being mocked
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupCompared to, say, physics, economics is soft science. The comic implies it's black magic. I wouldn't pull it without a replacement either, but if more people don't get the implication, then it might be worth threading.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.I suspect the issue is that people don't know what soft means in this context, or recognize that this is really about social sciences as compared to natural sciences.
All Your Colors Combined is about about color-coded characters combining their powers, but said characters' colors aren't very visible.
My plan is to trick you into thinking this is my signature when it’s not, then confuse you dead. Doubting my plan? Then it's working!Am I the only one who thinks that HoYay.The Smurfs seems to deliberate out of context?

Re In Place of an Eye. The context doesn't matter, visually it looks like a glasses attachment instead of what the trope is going for.
