The Perry Bible Fellowship came to mind, though I'm not sure if the punchline makes sensenote when reduced to only the last panel (and having two out of three panels would raise questions about Fair Use).

Meh, I personally thought it supported the image by helping to draw the viewer's attention to the cloud in the sky, while doubling as a play on the Bible verse "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."

This was brought up in "Is This An Example?", but the image doesn't actually fit the trope.
It is a fictional religion created by animals, yes, but the characters in Planet of the Apes are Petting-Zoo People. They're too anthropomorphic for the trope. Animal Religion is only about Nearly Normal Animal, Partially Civilized Animal, and Civilized Animal characters.
