Poor Image: Silver Fox

Minor issue with the trope being No Real Life Examples, Please!.

Silver Fox is listing multiple actors As Himself instead of their roles in the image caption (IE - Mark Harmon is Gibbs in NCIS).

I'm not even sure that Anderson Cooper has done anything other than newcasting (as himself presumably).

Yep, just by virtue of the trope being NRLEP, that can warrant a pull.

When was there ever a rule saying NRLEP tropes can't have real life images? I vote to keep it.

I believe the problem with Real Life examples on this page was (though I didn't check) natter, gushing, and Zero Context Examples. Considering these are all actors who play characters who follow the trope (even if they sometimes play more or less themselves), I don't think there's a problem. It's not like there's a moral problem with them, like implying they're evil.

Exactly. It's not harmful to have a real-life image in this case.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested

This could serve, but it may be very subjective depending on who you ask.

Honestly, everything else that's going on is distracting from his hair.

Could this◊ pic of the same image serve better? Is small, but less saturated with extra stuff.

None of the suggestions are better than what we already have. I vote to keep the current.

Its not about the quality but the validity of current.

I don't see why the current is invalid. Most of the other suggestions look no less "real-life" to me.

I like 11.1, fwiw.

My original suggest was to simply change the potholes to the shows rather than the actors.

Also remove Anderson Cooper, since he is a reporter and basically "acts" As Himself.

Reclocked. I'd be okay with replacing Anderson Cooper with someone else (Clooney too?) and going with their characters rather than the actors. Alternately, how about The Most Interesting Man in the World?

I was looking at Clooney's Wikipedia page to try to find a romantic role, and it led me to wonder - would this◊ work?

Well, that brings up an question - does a media work like that citing someone as such violate the NRLEP rule in spirit? I'll pitch it to the other mods. In the meantime, if someone can find one of Clooney's characters that would fit the spirit of the trope, go for it.

EDIT: After discussion, it's determined that that does violate NRLEP, so that's out.
