See here for Nightmare Fuel, which has frequent enough problems to deserve a thread of its own.
A while ago, I made a thread for cleaning up Nightmare Fuel pages, since they tend to attract all sorts of gushing about anything vaguely unsettling, as well as violations of Example Indentation and the Spoiler Policy among other problems. Well, other Moments pages have similar issues, though to a slightly lesser extent, so they may as well have a cleanup thread too.
"Moments" reactions should:
- Be free of spoiler tags, in accordance with the Spoilers Off policy which states that:
Fridge, Headscratchers, and the various Moments subpages (Tear Jerker, Moment of Awesome, etc.) are for post-viewing discussions. Spoiler tagging there defeats the purpose of the articles. You shouldn't be going there if you are worried about them.
- Be based on things that actually have happened, not things that could happen, will happen, or might have happened. Speculation belongs only on the Wild Mass Guessing pages.
- Have affected the writer of the entry themselves. If you don't find something funny or sad, let someone who did add it to Funny Moments or Tear Jerker.
- Elicit a strong reaction. Not every single time a character accomplishes something is an Awesome Moment, not every attempt at comedy is a Funny Moment, not every time someone does something nice is a Heartwarming Moment, and not every unhappy event is a Tear Jerker.
- Explain why they're so awesome/funny/sad: Zero Context Examples aren't allowed on this wiki. Your description should allow anyone to understand your reaction.

Okay, I commented out some of the no-context ones.

The things in my dreams wish they could chase me!Did you notify them?
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessAre Troper Tales/This Troper allowed on Moments pages because the Awesome page for Dawn of War includes an "Other" folder that is full of them.
No.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Cool.
The only other example in that folder is the following:
- There's the possibility of a player-generated Moment of Awesome when assaulting the Eldar stronghold in Dark Crusade. At the end, there's a trio of giant warp gates surrounding an absurdly well-fortified plateau accessible only by narrow, tactically suicidal ramps. The intended objective is to destroy the gates while fending off a constant stream of reinforcements from what the story sells as an utterly impregnable fortress. However, for a player in the mood for a serious Self-Imposed Challenge, it *is* just possible to slug your way onto the plateau itself and wipe it out. (Wiping it out DOES end the mission in success right there). It's quite a thrill watching the damn space elves finally ground under your troops' boots.
Should this also be removed due to the "don't count thins that might happen" rule?

Yes.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! Thanks. They're gone
TearJerker. The Rise Of Skywalker and other TROS Moments pages are tinged with shipping bias and 'this becomes even sadder when you think about it' stuff, and likely will be for some time since the movie just came out.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Internal notes not to put Fridge Horror in Tear Jerker?
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Aegis P brought up a concern about the Penny Arcade Tearjerker page on ATT. I think the page may need to be looked at.
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.I just cleaned up a link to No. Just... No on TearJerker.Acting Lessons and in the process untagged all spoilers. We may need further cleanup on that page.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! This example from Heartwarming.Tom And Jerry doesn't make much sense. How is this heartwarming?
- Tom's girlfriend in Muscle Beach Tom. She's a beautiful and nice cat who is enjoying herself. She dances delightfully to the radio music and is filled with joy by weightlifting. It's no wonder Tom, Butch and Jerry all fall in love with her and fight to win her heart.
Happy Tree Friends' Awesome Page is a page I'm so mixed on. I can understand some of the examples but then you get one of these.
First off, the episode Read 'em and Weep is not even mentioned. I added on the page but beyond that, it's a Zero-Context Example. I guess it was cool to see Lumpy fight off a demon but it's otherwise written poorly.
- In Doggone It Lumpy faces off with a giant squid with only a mousetrap and wins.
It's more of a comedic moment that it is awesome to me. The scene is barely taken seriously.
- The "Still Alive!" trailer. After 2 years of waiting Mondo has finally decided to release new episodes again.
This is way too meta honestly. No offense for fans who were happy about this.
- Lumpy using nothing but a pogo stick to stop Lifty and Shifty from stealing his elephant and the rest of the Tree Friends' pets.
Zero-Context Example. Maybe I could expand on this since it's really cool to see Lumpy get the pets back.
- Lumpy using nothing but a pogo stick to stop Lifty and Shifty from stealing his elephant and the rest of the Tree Friends' pets.
The episode Junk in the Trunk is not even mentioned. Also, Zero-Context Example.
- In Doggone It, Pop finds Whistle attacking Cub, and immediately begins to attack the dog, even letting it bite him while he calls Lumpy the animal controller. Though we don't see Cub for the rest of the episode, it's possible that Cub actually survived. Way to go, Pop.
Is there proof that Cub really did survive that scene? Not to say that he did, but I believe it is debatable to whether or not Cub survived.

Yes, I am using a modded version of Lego Indy 1 for my avatar.Funny.Mass Effect Deception is unindexed. I was about to fix that, but then I noticed that every example on the page is just narm.
Should I Cut List the page?
IMO, yes.
Alright, done.
FYI, always good to cite the clean-up thread when submitting a cut request.
Thoughts on the Tom and Jerry example above?
I'm mainly a fan of underrated media. This page has full descriptions of the plots of several episodes, including full scripts for scenes that include parts that are neither jokes nor setups for jokes. The "Eye of the Beholder" recap is by far the worst, but it gets a unnecessarily in-depth and a little gushy on other episodes too.

Awesome.Wabbit A Looney Tunes Production is nothing but Zero Context Examples. That, and it's really gushy.
She/her. Profile pic is by Richard Michael Gomez @StarmansArt. Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkI found this on YMMV.Kyoto Animation:
- Tear Jerker: Everything about the July 2019 fire, from the pain of the families and Japan itself to the mourning from all over the world. On the other side of the coin, the support shown from all the fans was tremendous, with millions of dollars raised to help Kyoto Animation rebuild and the families to recover. It also made all those who knew the studio and its works appreciate them much more than before.
I'm pretty Real Life is not a source for Tear Jerker examples here.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI've got a question about this entry on Fire Emblem: Three Houses:
Do we have any guidelines about "For those who hate X..." type entries?
My biggest issue is that they seem to assume a portion of the audience felt a certain way, which comes off as though the writer themselves didn't feel that way but added it thinking someone, somewhere, feels this way. But that's impossible to know for sure, so that in and of itself isn't a reason to cut it; it might be word-cruft, though.

I just attempted cleanup of TearJerker.Sesame Street, given that I just KNEW that Caroll Spinney's death would have been mentioned. (For the record, Spinney is not a character but the guy who played Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.) Anyone else want to help chime in for cleanup? I'm not concerned about shoehorning so much as links, context, and NRLEP violations.
