Current seems to be non-work related. Suggestions below:

EDIT: Now that I'm where I can look at the options at full size, I'd say 1.1, 1.3, and 1.7 are the best of that batch; the rest are good Image Links fodder.

I don't think there is a policy in place. Those are suggestions for improvement. I prefer work-related because it feels more relevant to what we are doing here.

1.3 or 1.7. Or 1.1 without that black screen/items bit at the bottom.

No, but it's preferable to use something from a work, especially something we have a page for.

In other words, at the very least it has to be just as good disregarding source. Preferably better anyway.

The menu sign in the image clearly says this is Pop's Malt Shop, not Arnold's. A Google image search and a reverse image search turned up one article on Tumblr and the TV Tropes page.

Plus it's empty but this is a setting trope, so people being in the frame would make it better...?
