It's an acronym for Blank Until a Pretty Kickass Image Suggestion (playing on the word's actual meaning
); it's used for tropes that are inherently hard to capture in an image without someone actually taking the time to create one on their own.
I can support making the trope and its subpages a BUPKIS case, as I think it's going to be hard to illustrate the concept without a lampshade.

For what it's worth, those CN schedules have also been suggested a couple times for Adored by the Network. Neither made the cut, and imo it's an easier logic jump from "network shows mostly this show" to "network adores it" than to "network screws over these other shows in the process."
