Suggestion: Adored By The Network

I'm suggesting a replacement image for this page, though mine is, predictably enough, for Teen Titans Go!, but hopefully at least it's legible enough within size requirements. The image currently used was taken from the Naruto Hundo, a Naruto marathon weekend for the first 100 episodes, a one-time special. Not to say Naruto wasn't a case of this trope, but not egregiously so, as any number of shows could have been given that type of treatment as well that same time period, and a better example would be of shows that took up multiple daily slots and/or weekend specials. (My memory's a little short at the moment.) The one I pulled of Go! (via a tvzap2it schedule) was representative of the daily schedule, and is hopefully legible enough.

A regular weekday of Cartoon Network (as of September 2017). Really.

Previous threads. I think it's a lateral change at best...the text being less legible actually makes it a bit worse than the current.

Will Teen Titans Go finally overcome Naruto as the page image of this trope?

Let's see a tighter crop of OP. We don't have to see the episode titles, just that it's TTG across the board. Otherwise, I'm inclined to say Keep Until Better Image Suggested (again). The gray/white alternates point out the timeslots better than OP. And I'd say rerunning a 100-episode marathon of a show still qualifies for this trope, and I remember CN showing Naruto a lot besides that, so it's still an example.

It is a lateral example, but IMO more indicative since it's a regular weekday block, and not a random weekend special.

I think 4 is clearer, if anything.

I can read current just fine on my phone. [tdown] the suggestion for being a lateral change.

I'm also just done with people trying to low key use the page image as a way to complain about Go!.

4 is indeed more readable than current.

I'm in favor of keeping the current. Change would be too lateral for my tastes. Why fix what's not broken?

Keep Until Better Image Suggested. The current has better aesthetics than just a list with a logo.

I don't see any being an example, a simple marathon does not make them the trope. One of them is good for Marathon Running though.

[up] So we should move either the current or 4, whichever is preferred, to Marathon Running? I am okay with that.

Question is: what will fill the void in Adored by the Network? May be a bit tough without overlapping with Marathon Running.

Just realized that this thread and the previous two threads were all this year and suggesting Teen Titans Go as the replacement. Weird.

I can get behind the move of the current to Marathon Running. Like I said before, I think the current looks better aesthetically. To fill the void of Adored by the Network, maybe get a (preferably colorful or non-Excel-like) line chart that illustrates the airtime of various shows on a single network.

If this page's pic ends up getting the axe, then I'm neutral on whether 4 or the current goes to Marathon Running.

Well, the OP's position seems to be that the Naruto image is from a specifically-scheduled marathon, while TTG is properly this trope, which makes me ambivalent about how well either image represents either trope. If I buy what the OP lays out then 4 establishes this trope better, but neither really works for Marathon Running.

I kinda want to pull up a program guide that spans multiple days, so that you can see what the schedule is across all those days (actually, something akin to the current image on Teen Titans Go!'s own ABTN page, only actually legible), but right now airing TTG nonstop from 11 to 5 like the proposed image shows seems to only be a thing on Friday, with the rest of the week tending to be in blocks of no more than two hours outside of 8 AM-noon blocks on weekends.

Which is not to say that there aren't networks that run the same show over and over ad nauseam as part of their regular schedule, but it isn't always the same show every day or for long enough stretches of time to hammer home the point, and it isn't always the show the network is notorious for running into the ground. If USA ran Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on three consecutive days I could use TitanTV's 3-day view to illustrate the point (Zap2it's 5-day view only does three hours or so on a single screen with each time slot taking up huge chunks of space), but instead it runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from at least 10 AM to 6 PM, while on Fridays it only runs from 6 AM to noon before giving way to Chicago PD, and on Tuesdays it's NCIS they play the shit out of. I could still do it, but it would take more editing, or I could choose some other network that plays the same show into the ground several days a week (though I don't know if I could do a non-US network).

Either of them do go better on Marathon Running, good point. That's why previous suggestions were in the vein of this, but they don't hold up at wiki size. Is there a pie graph or something showing the time spent airing different shows?

Edit: just realized there are percentages to the side of this image. Maybe we can make a pie graph out of those?

[up] That's alright, but the graph isn't labeled. Do the data for this graph cover a single day or a month or a week?

It also doesn't add up to 100 for some reason.

That gives me the impression that there just aren't more shows.

Numbers may not add up to 100% because of rounding.

The Naruto image would be a better fit for Marathon Running, since that's what it was in the first place. Adored by the Network would have the issue of fitting multiple days into a small space while remaining legible. Not sure if, say, a Tuesday would have worked better.

As far as "Go! is aired too much!" goes, it just is what it is. The stats don't lie. (I've went on relative defense of the show against the "ruined forever" camp.)

Just three typical weekdays for the NCIS and SVU channel... er... USA Network.
TTG already has two images on subpages, so I'd rather go with something else on the main page if possible. Is this sufficiently legible at wiki size?

What if we blanked out the blue boxes in [up][up][up]and replaced them with the show titles in a larger font? That way we can keep the multiple-day angle and the timeslots to the side.

I'd rather make a minimum of edits if possible; if we're going to edit it for legibility we might as well just throw something together from scratch.
