Opened.
The image is also painfully tiny and low-quality to the extent of being an ugly distraction instead of adding to the page, so I'd pull it regardless.
I found this Darkness Cover
[1]◊
The guy in the back is "Butcher Joyce" because he's The The Family's resident body disposal expert.

^ Looks good.
Good except the guy we're interested in is in the background. Are there any other images where he's the focus?
You kind of need the title to avoid A Face With A Caption

I never said the title shouldn't be shown. I was asking whether there is an image similar to that with the title and all but with the butcher up front.
That works even better.
Is it official and not an edit we have to dig up permission for?
Hard to tell. The only place I can find a matching image is a free wallpaper site that says its wallpapers belong to the copyright holders. The TopCow label at the bottom of the wallpaper leads me to believe its official, though.
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobRandom official art from wallpaper site is close enough for me to official media we don't need to seek permissions for.
I has my vote.
Clock is set. I'm good with 9.

(Annoyed grunt)Ok with 9
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
The current is not only low resolution, but also fairly misleading. Namely, this trope is about The Butcher as a scary (nick)name. The character need not be an actual butcher, which is more in line with Evil Chef.
I'll offer this title screen◊ for a recent Retraux game as a replacement.
