Unfortunately, from what I've heard, the team behind Monster Hunter doesn't want their series representing in the Capcom Vs. series, so if that's true, I wouldn't count on that.
I hope it isn't true, so we can play a good Fing Fang Foom vs. Rathalos smackdown!
IIRC, It wasn't that they didn't want their series represented (if that were true, Heroes and Heralds mode in UMVC3 wouldn't have had cards representing the series). Capcom wanted to put in a generic Hunter character, and the devs vetoed it since they didn't think Capcom could give the character a moveset that best represented the series (i.e. having the Hunter use only a few weapons).
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.Super Smash Bros would disagree!

"The Page Cannot Be Found."
(Context: The Red Bull page you hyperlinked to in the last page doesn't show anything.)

I have no idea why that is. I just fiddled around with the URL (figured it'd work after removing the quotes), and that didn't work.
All I can say is: search up "marvel vs capcom infinite" in the Google News search bar (or whatever search bar you use), and you'll most likely find it (it should be the most recent piece as of this post).

This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute. For some reason the use of quotations and apostrophes made that url come out odd when copied.
Usually, I just take the url and "tiny" it if there's issues, so here's the link again.
One issue that we have here is that TV Tropes automatically inserts dashes in long strings of characters. Or it did. I can't seem to make "long" long enough to do it. Oh well.

Ok, the link on works. Thanks a lot.
And...I don't know what's the consensus is, but if it means giant robots and giant dragons vs. giant tree guy and whatever else Marvel's got, that sounds like fun on a bun! Just as long as it isn't just one giant guy per side. Like at least two per side.
EDIT: Is it weird that I kinda want Man-Thing or...that orange and white robot from this cover of Monsters Unleashed rather than Fin Fang Foom?

The only Marvel giant character I really want is Leopardon.◊

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm hoping for Red Ronin myself. With a robot from Tech Romancer as his opposite number.
I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but... why wasn't Thor playable in a vs game until Mv C 3?
I always found it weird that one of Marvel's most popular characters took so long to be playable. Was he in a Dork Age in the 90s? Did Capcom just forget him? Were characters like Marrow just of a higher priority than him?
I wonder how they're going to handle the Thor/Jane!Thor thing.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I was thinking it'd be undone in time for Ragnarok.
Because during that era Thor wasn't one of Marvels most popular characters. :P

35 year old white man.As absurd as it seems to modern audiences, the Avengers were distant second banana to the X-Men back in the late 90's. The Avengers were barely selling well enough to hold down one book (their spin-off got cancelled) while the X-Men were a massive franchise with spin-offs, a hit cartoon show, the best-selling single issue of all time and a big budget movie in the works. Someone like Thor just wasn't a priority, nor were most of the Avengers.
Probably not. Rangarok revolves around Thor being stripped of his hammer anyway.

Almost all of Marvel went through a Dork Age in the nineties.
Oh, economically, the X-Men held their own through the decade, the Punisher had a huge boom during the middle of it, Peter David's Hulk mostly stayed decent, and there were brief blips of quality in Daredevil, Age of Apocalypse, and secondary titles like Untold Tales of Spider-Man, but the nineties were the decade of the Clone Saga, the decade where the FF and Avengers dropped in sales badly enough for Marvel to feel the need to relaunch them under Jim Lee and LIEFELD, the decade where the worst excesses of the industry consumed Marvel to the brink of bankruptcy, both financial and creative.
I'm beginning to see where the Blade and X-Men movies got their costume design inspiration from...
I wasn't a fan of how the X-Men movies didn't use the costumes.
Only Deadpool has his costume in the movies.
Also, Thor wasn't popular at all in the 90s. Same with Iron Man. Only fairly recently had those two become popular.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!So... nothing new at PAX. I'm guessing that we're gonna have to wait until the end of February for that next reveal (of course, I say that, and it'll turn out that said reveal is gonna be... well, revealed on the 1st or 2nd of February).
I hope that the next reveal has a ton of stuff (as in, eight characters and at least two more Infinity Stones... probably not gonna happen, though). If we're gonna wait a long time between reveals, it'd be nice to have plenty of stuff to chew on during that time.
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no... this is just a tribute.Don't get your hopes up I'm not expecting anything until Comic Con.
Mileena MadnessI at least would like to know what button layout they're gonna use.
We don't need justice when we can forgive. We don't need tolerance when we can love. The PS 4 uses the touchpad exclusively for attacks. Which attack you use depends on how hard you hit the touchpad.
I'm open to anyone as far as giant characters go, though there's one that I'd really want to see (at least on the Capcom side)...
