Needs Help: Naked On Arrival

The trope, as described, is more narrow than the picture that currently illustrates it. It is simply A character's first appearance onscreen is without a stitch of clothing." Although an example of both, I feel the Terminator is more associated with Can't Take Anything with You, so it would be better if we had an image which didn't overlap as much. Not to be confused with Naked First Impression either, although that and Naked on Arrival can sometimes overlap as well.

I think I found a SFW example from the shortlived John Doe, but not sure how clear it is on the "intro" part.

[up] That's pretty cool, although I don't really have an issue with the current. If we end up keeping the current, pairing it with a shot of the time displacement effect would help.

[up] The issue with current is that it displays the more specific Can't Take Anything with You which may lead users to file their examples incorrectly.

How about Aphrodite's first scene in The Adventures of Baron Munchausen? It being an homage to Botticelli's The Birth of Venus makes it clear this the character's introductory scene, while the image (unlike the Botticelli painting) is still SFW.

The opening of the shell has the best depiction of arrival so far. But is it safe enough?

Apparently it was considered safe enough to use a part of that image (as well as The Botticelli original) here: Art Imitates Art.

The image quality on that page is pretty crappy though, I'd rather use the Aphrodite pic for this trope and come up with some alternate image for Art Imitates Art, appropriate ones for that page are easy to find.

For example, you could use a combination of these two pics on the Art Imitates Art page, and have the Munchhausen Aphrodite for this trope.

Or these two.

Let's go ahead and run with the two suggested changes.

The image changes have been made and both pages are tagged. Should the new pic on Art Imitates Art be potholed to Franchise.Batman? Should we keep the caption for the new pic on Naked on Arrival?

[up]Two-part pictures tend to avoid being potholed to one specific work, although there are exceptions. I wouldn't mind personally if it was potholed.
