......Okay, I'll bite.
Personally, I wouldn't mind a pairing of human girl/non-human girl. Not sure if it's really that unpopular or not-on the stand that I really don't know-but I'm certainly not against the pairing.
Welcome aboard! So that's 2 for Girls' Love.
Anyone else interested?

Magic girl/muggle girl!
Non Indicative UsernameOk, so that makes 3 for the fourth option.

Okay, what do we choose next? The magical power?
"Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is 0x29a."I vote for dual chainsaw swords
Non Indicative UsernameHow about being able to create constructs made out of pure magical energy (like those chainsaw swords)?
Well, I was thinking more along the lines of what TYPE of magical she should be.
Like, should the girlfriend be a goddess, or an alien, or an angel, or a Cute Witch, or a Cute Ghost Girl, or a Robot Girl, or a Cat Girl, or some combo (like the ghost of a witch, or an alien catgirl, etc).
Let's get that decided, THEN we can figure out the powers she has (although I have to admit, the chainsaw thing IS kinda cool).

Chainsword-wielding alien witch princess?

Rejoice! We should consider other options before settling on one power.
Non Indicative UsernameA princess of a nation of aliens who use magic. Maybe she went to Earth for holidays or somesuch - she doesn't have to be heiress apparent. (I confess, I've never actually watched Ben 10.) Though as said, powers aren't set in stone yet, so magic should probably be crossed out of here.

Rejoice!Well, I like the idea of her being a princess, or at least reasonably wealthy. As to the rest of the stuff, however...I dunno, let's see what everyone else thinks first.
I had something different in mind: a prophetic chthonic goddess (earth deity), the kind that supposedly inspired the ancient Greek oracles (including the Pythia) and the sybils. Possibly associated with snakes and capable of controlling them.
This could get interesting: can you imagine the challenges of trying to build a relationship while getting flashes of how it will turn out in a few months or years?
"Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is 0x29a."So Combat Clairvoyance but with romance eh?

Non Indicative UsernameNot bad, not bad.
Maybe we could combine it with the alien princess idea? After all, it's been suggested that the ancient gods (at least the ones from Central and South American legend) were actually very advanced aliens.

Thanks.
We certainly could. Though I must say I have never understood the added value of that. What does an alien wizard add over a Terran wizard?

"Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is 0x29a."Green-Skinned Space Babe, Fish out of Water, Superman-style lone survivor.
Non Indicative UsernameAlso the possibility for other aliens to visit the plot.
I like the clairvoyance idea. So... future-seeing alien princess?
Rejoice!Yeah, sounds good!
Unless anyone else has a different idea?
Somehow incorporate the chainsaw idea.
There's that. I suppose it's more plausible than other gods visiting...
"Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and his number is 0x29a."Remember in Ah My Goddess, when Belldandy's sisters, Peorth, Lind et al showed up?
It's not IMPOSSIBLE for other gods to visit, but there has to be a REASON for them to show up. Mind you, there also has to be a reason for other ALIENS to show up as well.
Regardless, shall I assume that we're sticking with "alien princess", if nothing else?

There could be a ton of reasons for other aliens to show up on a planet where an alien princess resides. Potential suitors, assassins, aliens trying to extort some influence over her parents, aliens who believe that befriending her (no matter whether she wants it) will advance their social status, aliens trying to pull her into some scheme to overthrow her parents, aliens trying to make her a pawn in their political game, her family trying to check just what's up with this Earth girlfriend of hers, family house guard trying to bring her home on her parents' behalf...
On that note, where on Sliding Scale of Idealism Versus Cynicism do we aim?
Rejoice!
Well, why not? Nobody else has done it before.
First of all, I guess we should decide WHAT type of pairing we're going for - human boy/non-human girl, human girl/non-human boy, human boy/non-human boy or human girl/non-human girl.
Personally, I think it should be the last one, on account of it doesn't seem to be very popular, but what does everyone else think?
