character sheet coming in a bit
oh, final question: can i have kind of like a pseudo-npc? like, a character that isnt very major but that i'll sometimes play if i feel like lightening things up a bit?
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartMaybe.
I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey.ok
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apartDamn, I don't know what animal I should go with. There's too many to choose from.
"If you think like a child, you will do a child's work."What are your personal favorites?
I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey.Too many. Excluding the 'forbidden' species, there's Badgers, Weasels, Ferrets, Wild Cats, Regular Cats, Pointy-Eared Dogs, Boars, Aardvarks, Microbats, Megabats, Seagulls, Puffins, Blue-Footed Boobies, Owls, Parrots, Monitor Lizards, Tortoises, Frogs, Toads, Lionfish, Piranhas, Gastropods, Spiders, Scorpions, Bees, Wasps, Flies, Cicadas, Stag Beetles, and probably some others I'm forgetting.
If it helps, I was thinking of going for a 'shifty' kind of archetype. Like the sort of animal that would appear on a poster with the words 'Would YOU Buy A Used Car From This Creature?' next to it. But that could theoretically be anything.

I am the most suitable partner for Gaia. I have some bad news. You will not make it to Eden. This is the end of your journey. Here's something for yer.
- Name: Nixon.
- Species: Ferret.
- Age: 8 (which is quite old).
- Abilities:
- Literate: He can read! Shocking, I know. That's not to say he would automatically understand everything he's reading, though.
- Savvy: He's more knowledgeable on human habits than most animals. He also pays much attention to people's characters. He's also, to some degree, more tech-savvy than most animals, knowing the basics of the big machines.
- Smooth Talker: A carry-over from his days as a housepet.
- Collector: He maintains a small collection of various bits of garbage the humans have left lying around. His most prized possession is an old Walkman he found on a park trail, with a mixtape of classic songs still on it.
- Gender: Male (yep, another one).
- Personality: Nixon is not necessarily a Grumpy Old Man, but he does think that his 'wisdom' entitles him to speak bluntly when he needs to, and otherwise look down on those uppity youngsters who think they know everything. He was formerly a housepet from the "Windy City" before some odd humans kidnapped him and some other animals and had them released into the wild. His time as a housepet has given him a different perspective on humans than most. He figured out ways to manipulate them into giving him food or various fun objects to play with. Therefore, he thinks of humans less as Cthulhu and more as a bunch of Almighty Idiots. Where others see danger in the multi-layered giants, he sees opportunity. It helps that his time under human care has given him a degree of knowledge on human culture, if not a complete one. Most of it comes from the scraps of old newspaper his owners put in his cage. He distinctly remembers reading about a legendary trickster called Richard Nixon, who he has named himself after. Since his 'unfortunate escape', he's been spending his time trying to destroy everyone's hope in The Promised Land and instead accept that humans will one day overrun them, and that it's better to reap the benefits of this than dwell on the downsides.
