HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF GOD, GUILLERMO DEL TORO IS PRODUCING THIS!!!
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Um, you sure Del Toro is producing this?
Because they are doing a show based on a book of his called "Trollhunters". Which he is producing...
Well I guess my "what's trending" thing on Facebook lied to me, because it says Del Toro is producing, when everyone else says otherwise.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Somebody get me some arms, legs and a body.
Don't worry. I'll take care of that last part myself.
Anyway, this seems appropriate.

One Strip! One Strip!I thought this was already rebooted on Nicktoons?
It was (Voltron Force). This is something else, apparently.
So long as it's Keith, Lance, Pidge, Hunk, and Alura (or even Sven) I'm there.
Voltron Fore hasn't gotten any news in years after season 1 ended in a pretty big cliffhanger. Still while I never saw the original show i'm still exited for this especially if there's no random kids in training trying to take Voltron away from the original cast like Force tried on us.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."He's producing Troll Hunters not this. Bad Adric, got my hopes up.
I doubt this will be good. I love WEP but without Toei they are unable to make a good Voltron series. They should seriously try and commision a new anime show from Toei.

"We be we baby!"As long as it isnt Bryke this should be good then!

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Yeah, I thought it sounded hokey when Adric said Guillermo del Toro would produce Voltron.
Though I guess we shouldn't really blame them, should we? The dude kinda deserves recognition after having a lousy 2015. Especially since...
- The Silent Hill game he was going to do with his BFF Hideo Kojima and Norman Reedus got the kibosh unceremoniously after the heads of Konami evidently overdosed on cocaine and failed to get their actual heads out of their asses,
- Crimson Peak apparently didn't do as well as anyone thought it would despite being in theaters on time for freaking Halloween,
- and Pacific Rim 2 is in limbo because the first one got its ass whooped by a goddamn Adam Sandler sequel (am I the only one around here who thinks that that's depressing?).
Drama for GDT that almost makes me want to give him a Bear Hug if I ever see him in my lifetime aside, I've never really seen a Voltron show, so a Voltron show by the Korra crew sounds promising.
EDIT: Who's Bryke?

Guy behind Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.
it's actually a portmanteau name made from the co-creators' first names: Bryan Konietzko and Michael (Mike) DiMartino.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Again, I got the news that Del Toro was behind this on my Facebook. Apparently they got it wrong.
Either way, Del Toro gets to do something soon, just not this.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?x5 I don't think that Bryke will be involved, as Bryan is putting together a comic book series, and Mike is writing a novel.

"You can run, but you can't hide from the Buzzinator!"Does Aegis not like Bryke?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I have a feeling that The Legend of Korra soured his opinion on the duo.
"You can run, but you can't hide from the Buzzinator!"I always felt that show deserved more than just 10 episodes per seson
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Understandable.
I wish I could find some solid information on just who is involved with this new Voltron series. That tweet above is the only thing I can find. Well, I think I know someone who has an IMDb Pro account, which may have more info (free users can't access anything about the show yet because it's still listed as "in production").
@13 I could say something about an Adam Sandler movie beating a Del Toro movie, but the wiki does prefer that I not engage in creator bashing, so I'll just say that Del Toro doesn't get enough attention.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. There's going to be a panel at Wondercon showing new footage and art. It also confirms what I mentioned earlier, plus writer Tim Hendrick from Korra is in this as well.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).x4 It wasn't 10 though, most Korra seasons were 12-13 episodes long. Book 2 even had 14.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"First Look at Voltron: Legendary Defender
Interesting...
Looks like Voltron is getting a reboot.
