Need help coming up with elemental forces

Because I have both a soft spot for thematic elements and a gluttony for punishment, I had the bright idea to try and create 130 alien races/worlds, each based around a different element i.e. force of nature. I've got to 56, and I think I've already exhausted every fantasy-type element known to man. Here are my findings, in no particular order. If anyone can think far enough outside the box to come up with any more, their help would be most appreciated.

  • Earth
  • Fire
  • Water
  • Air
  • Sound
  • Light
  • Thought
  • Metal
  • Wood
  • Sand
  • Death
  • Ice
  • Mucus
  • Gravity
  • Lightning
  • Music
  • Soul
  • Magma
  • Smoke
  • Comet
  • Tech
  • Germs
  • Clay
  • Life
  • Beast
  • Peace
  • Stasis
  • Emotion
  • Radiation
  • Plasma
  • Time
  • Shadow
  • Ectoplasm
  • Energy
  • Matter
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Sulphur
  • Sun
  • Moon
  • Logic
  • Magic
  • Motion
  • Heart
  • Aether
  • Space
  • Mercury
  • Crystal
  • Order
  • Storm
  • Chaos
  • Madness
  • Reality
  • Void
  • Good
  • Evil

Wow, that's... quite a daunting endevour. For suggestions:

Why exactly 130 though, if I may ask?

Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall. Cant believe you missed those.

On Earth, the cardinal directions (North, South, etc) are often considered elemental. For an interstellar context, use the Galactic Directions: Spinward, Antispin, Above (i.e., looking down you see the "top" of the Galaxy spinning from left to right), and Below (the opposite).

The Quark flavors: up, down, strange, charm, top, and bottom.

Distance.

Probability.

Destructive emotional states: Violence, Hate, Anger, Aggression, Fear, etc. (too lengthy to list)

Healthy emotional states.

States of being related to Health and Sickness.

Discovery and Ignorance.

Stasis and Growth.

Hope (another one!) that helps you.

Kakai: I'm glad you asked. Gives me a chance to rabbit on about my creative process.tongue

You see, I had a system in place where I put together lists of animal types, unique animal features, and various alien/character/civilisational tropes, then reconfigure those lists at random, pop them all into an excel table and BAM, factory line aliens. One of these lists just so happened to include 129 items without having to be repeated or have filler lines tacked onto the end. I added humanity to the big list just to complete my little universe.

Then I thought to myself "Self, humans live on the Planet Earth, right? Well, if I give all these aliens a Planet Water, Air, Fire and so forth, I could get a better picture of what environment they all came from. World building, here we come!" And so my troubles began.

Thanks for all the suggestions so far, guys. They're a huge boon, believe me.

[up][up]Hmm, that's one well-conceived idea. As for other elements, if we're going with both forces and magics:

  • Fission
  • Fusion
  • Art (various forms of it)
  • Five senses (Sight - if it's not Light - Hearing - if it's not Sound - Smell, Touch, Taste)
  • Magnetism

Rejoice!
