CoLC crossover RP, discussion

• All characters' weapons, defensive items, items that provide special abilities, and special abilities are returned to full function. Characters are effectively returned to their normal selves.
  • Additionally, all of such items they had gotten in the city during previous days are also returned, as if the deaths they suffered this current day did not occur.
• All of the park's power has suddenly returned, with the most important effect being that it's no longer so darn dark everywhere thanks to the lights coming on.
• The horror monster antagonists no longer have contractual plot invincibility. The objective is now to bring them down.

Surprise! That took over an hour to type up. Anyway, as most of the scenes are now proper combat, that will probably be my only post for the night. I didn't go to the chiropractor today, and tomorrow wouldn't be great since they close early, so I'll probably go early next week, like on Monday.

As for myself tomorrow, my work shift is an early one and a relatively short one; even if I end up needing a nap after I get home, I should still be online well earlier than I was on today, now. I can't be certain how much earlier exactly though.

Wonder if Korodzik is around.

Guess Gon'll get that laser rifle and pistols back at least, not counting the tactical backpack where has a MP 5 K and food and extra ammo.

@Firock: Can we get a list of all the baddies so we have a checklist of monsters defeated?

I have folders on each of them in the character page that are all empty and you might be able to use that I think for an improvised list, as I have for the pages.

Korodzik the deaths that happened in Day 13 so far "don't count" so to say, so the stuff Garrett got before dying to the Xenomorph should still be with him

Here now, fully recapped. I got off work a half hour early but the drive to and from work was a pain in the ass due to a new snowfall; I've still got a little over three hours before the 24 hour mark on my last post, so I'm gonna check on some things and then try to unwind a bit before I get started on it.

@Udthe Imp: Indeed, those are the monsters.

@Korodzik: Yes, as Full Moon's already mentioned and was in my supplementary rules post, the deaths of Day 13 prior to that point don't count in terms of losing items, so Garrett would still have the bag of holding full of books.

Oh. Sorry about that, I didn't notice that part somehow. Edited.

But just to be clear, the "mundane" items don't return, right? So Garrett's cellphone and the ill-gotten loot are still gone?

So, sorry for suddenly dropping off the face of the Earth. I had to study for both midterms and the SAT. Now that those are over with, I should be able to participate...

...assuming I can catch up quickly enough.

@Korodzik: No, they would return too.

@Ominae: Aren't the weapons you just described in Gon's post, except the beam rifle, from before I removed all of Gon's weapons as punishment because you were breaking the rules? Because he shouldn't have those then.

Alright, well I should get going for tonight. I've got tomorrow off so I'm sleeping in, thus I'm not sure when I'll be on. Almost certainly later than I first got on today, but probably still earlier than my posting mark.

Oh and before I go while I just remembered it, my schedule for next week: Another week of a low amount of hours, though not exactly at the most convenient times. I've got moderate length early shifts Tuesday and Wednesday, a short early shift Saturday, then this bizarre and extremely short shift next Sunday that's early but not as early.^note Sundays are pretty much always our slowest days, and it's right at what's usually one of our slower periods on any day; so I don't know what the heck I'm even going in for. I guess it'll be pretty much free hours for me, so I can't complain, but why?

Here now, fully recapped. I see I haven't missed much; though I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised considering how many of you are currently in combat posting. Well, posting mark is just under a couple hours away, so I'm going to check on some things, and then get started on that in a text document.

EDIT: Those at the ferris wheel are now officially no longer in combat, at least for now. Those at the shrimp restaurant might be out of combat; I was given the impression from Locoman on skype that Morty might be turning on friendlies in a blind frenzy.

He's got enough self-restraint at the moment to know not to do that, although who can say what will happen next?

Heh, very well. Then the Shrimp restaurant group is also not in combat, for now anyway.

I should get going for tonight now. I'm going to be getting up earlier tomorrow, but I'm going to the chiropractor first thing, so I might not be online until a bit later than I got on today.

EDIT: Oh wait, first I'll make a little post for the militia member responding to Arcade, since that's no longer a combat scene. Whoops.

OK, I added a caveat into my post just in case.

I think I'm just gonna wait until Day 14, since I'm both somewhat lost and can't come up with a sufficient Hand Wave.

Anyway, speaking of which, I'll try to see about getting a quick post for that up after I check on some things, then I'll start working on the next combat post for copy-pasting in a couple hours.

EDIT: Pool group (Plague Knight and Viola) is now also out of combat for the time being.

EDIT 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO: Alright, with that quick post for the non-combat scenes, I should get going for tonight. Tomorrow's early shift ends a couple hours before I got on today, but I'm going to want to take a bath and probably rest for a bit before I get on my comp, so it might be around the same time that I actually get on.

Here and fully recapped once again. Gonna check on some things and then try to make a post for the non-combat stuff; combat post is waiting on a couple people who haven't posted yet or for a couple more hours to pass, whichever comes first.

Since I can't be up late tonight and there's other things I'd like to do, I don't know how much posting I'll be doing overall.

EDIT: The group leaving the shrimp shack, (Rick & Morty, Grinch, and Curly if I'm not mistaken) are now once again in combat posting rules.

Those who are hearing the scenes nearby, (Plague Knight and Viola near the pizza place; Lewis, Garrett, and Gon near the woods) may or may not enter the combat, but it'll pretty much take their post just to arrive first and see the situation before they can really act on it.

Ara/Eun meanwhile, is now no longer in combat. (Unless she starts fighting Jackson.)

@Fantasy Liver: Your signup said that Calvin needs to get the wagon up to speed and do something like ramp off an incline before it can fly; which would mean that he can't just up and start flying with zero effort like in your post.

EDIT: Alright, and I'm gonna get going early in an attempt to hopefully get better sleep tonight. Tomorrow's shift starts a bit earlier but ends at the same time today's did, so I'll likely be on around the same time; unless by some miracle I'm not tired after work and don't need to rest. I'll probably see about hanging out with friends if possible tomorrow, since I have the two days after that off and can stay up; but I'll see to the round of combat posting before doing that.

Oh my bad. I figured there might be some ramps or something similar enough nearby so I didn't have to post for that. No worries though - I edited my post.

@Fantasy Liver: As long as you aren't using it to effectively teleport to other scenes instantly, I don't care if you go ahead and handwave something plausible. What I meant is that it should still be mentioned in your posts in some way; not just ignored outright when it was a key aspect of its function.

Anyway, I'm here now and fully recapped. I'm gonna check on some things, then see about posting something for the militia member talking to Arcade shortly, then start working on the next combat post in a text document. It's again waiting about a couple hours or for two characters who haven't been posted for yet, whichever comes first.

Ugh, so I think it's a bit obvious but I thought I might as well make it known.

Once again, I've decided I'm gonna have to drop from this RP, again... The pace has gotten too fast for me now what with school and writing. As much as I'd like to Hand Wave my favorite villainous duo's absence, I don't think I can really do that either.

So I guess see you guys later, again. I'll probably be back by my "summer break". Hopefully.
