Out of all the Pokemon affected by friendship... Leavanny or Wigglytuff fit Gentaro the best.

And now I'm imagining a Wigglytuff trying to turn into Fourze with its stubby arms.

If we're including newer Pokemon into this (I focused on the older ones because everyone might be more familiar with those), Grey Matter would TOTALLY be Elgyem◊. Meanwhile Ripjaws might be Sharpedo◊, and Wildvine could be Tangela's evolution Tangrowth◊, while Heatblast would be Magmar's evolution Magmortar◊.

Here now, just recapped discussion. Gonna start recapping main, but I think family dinner is about to happen soon, so it could be a while 'till I'm caught up.

@Museum day: I personally really like the sound of that. Now if only I could come up with good ideas about what would be in said museum.

@Paintball day: That's a bit similar to something I already have planned. But making it a Splatoon-esque turf war might be fun. Alternatively, that'd be a great thing to have as part of a minigames day.

It is, though not just because of how well or not well it might work. AU days are just not something I'm planning on doing for a few reasons unless everyone really wants to do one anyway. The main reason I don't particularly want to personally is that an AU day inherently goes against something I was planning on not doing: Namely, have any day conditions that affect characters' personalities and mental states; I don't personally want any days that actually change who the character is, just what they look like and what they're armed with. Also from my experience AU days can be a big mess; a fun mess, but still a big mess. Now granted, I've only really had the one experience with an AU day in this sort of format before, but still.

@Pokemon day: I think personally I'd just combine that with the animorphism day since, A) they're similar in concept and, B) that means that when everyone turns into animals/animal things, they aren't necessarily all turning into animals/animal things that happen to be from the same universe.

EDIT: Also come to think of it a pokemon specific day would inherently go against another thing I was planning on not doing: Days tied to some specific piece of media.

Hopefully that'll be enough to finish off Plantera.

Was a bit late in the game since I got a bit busy with IMFDB and catching up to shows I missed after I returned from China.

Dropping by to inform that I probably won't be able to post until Friday, because I'll be away for all of tomorrow.

I might get the chance to write a quick one on my phone, but don't count on it. Or at least don't expect it to be long.

Heading out for the night now. My family has the big Thanksgiving meal as lunch instead of dinner, and with me being nocturnal that means it will probably be the same as an early shift work day in terms of posting schedule. That is to say, I'll get up, attend the dinner, recap whatever has been posted by then, maybe make a post in discussion, then take a nap.

Given that it is a holiday and I expect a number of you to be busy, I think what I'll do is still put off the next boss battle post if less than half of those in it have posted by the time of the 24 hour mark. I don't intend that to become the norm though, as again, holiday exception.

And of course, I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!

Well. Uni's a bit more time-consuming than I though, and this RP kinda fell off the face of earth for me.

Watching the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, and a thought came to me: Which Undertale character would be the best candidate for a balloon? My guess is Papyrus.

Uggghhh... I woke up early for some reason, and couldn't get back to sleep. Decided to come poke my head in.

But to actually address the topic seriously for a minute, no I'm not trying to kill Legion specifically, nor am I doing that thing where I give the boss some kind of Plot Armor until they get some minimum number of kills and/or damage dealt against player characters. (I'm saving that card for the final boss.)

What I am doing, and the thing I personally try to always set out to do as a GM with crossover boss fights, is remain as accurate as possible to the source material, within reason; (Unless I have a specific reason not to like the day conditions or something.) and I try to remain consistent about how dangerous the boss is.

Also as you sort of pointed out yourself, we're at about the same level of Death Is a Slap on the Wrist as a deathmatch in Unreal Tournament, so I don't feel inclined to give you guys any Plot Armor in the boss fights either.

So with both of those things in mind, I'm not going to let a strategy that explicitly does not work against Plantera in Terraria magically work in this context. Nor am I going to have Plantera spontaneously generate some sort of hit-this-to-instakill weak spot, because it doesn't have one. Nor is it going to become less threatening just because a number of the player characters stopped fighting it for the moment.

(Also I feel like I should maybe point out that the only significant damage Plantera has taken directly since it went to stage 2 is the sword slash Rex just hit it with. Other than that the only thing to hit it is like one or two shots from Morty's pistol thing. You guys have killed most of the small chomper vines already, but Plantera's own health is not tied to those.)

Anyway, I'm going to go distract myself for a bit and then see if I can manage to catch any more sleep before the big Thanksgiving meal.

Fog Day: The weather gets, well, foggy...so the clouds come down. Since the clouds are solid objects, the city becomes a maze of sharp edges^note Of course it's logical that wet paper gives you paper cuts, acidic, dripping ink, and that gross wet papery smell.

Man that nap ended up lasting something like 6-7 hours; I feel great. Anyway, here now, fully recapped. Sticking to what I said before about posting tonight, so it looks like I won't be, probably. My plan in that event then is to work on a post as soon as I'm back from work tomorrow night. (So it won't be another complete 24 hours, though not terribly far from it relatively speaking.)

@Deis: That guy's pretty good considering he didn't build an arena specifically to fight Plantera in.

@Fog day: Funny that dripping ink would be a part of that day when the clouds getting all wet and rainy this day didn't cause that. It's almost like you want things to get worse than they need to be later on.

Well, maybe you'd just be walking through the ink instead of it dripping on you, since the clouds are so low to the ground. I'm not sure. XD

@Museum day: Add those sections depicting historical time periods like the Georgian times or something, maybe? But if you want prehistoric animals, I can give some Seldom-Seen Species. A lot of them.
