It's definitely got potential, but I wonder if the cyclops' foot coming off the cliff will be all that evident at wiki size.
Hmm, I actually hadn't thought about that. Thanks for pointing that out.
Could point it out in the caption. It's not evident unless you look at it.
Check out my fanfiction! How about something more traditional◊. Or there is this◊ or is it too NSFW
Out of those two, I'd definitely go with the first one. You can see nipple on the second if you look closely enough, so yeah, I'd call it NSFW.
1.1 and 5.2 could both work. Just to add a suggestion from a work, here's a drawing of the Samurai Jack sirens that could do: [1]

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
Looks good. But is that copyright note an issue?

Also, "NSFW" doesn't mean "any nudity whatsoever", it means "looks like porn" or "looks too gory" or arguably even "looks too vulgar"; something you wouldn't want to be seen looking at from across the room, at a job maybe, or at school: Not Safe for Work. If in a given situation that's not okay, no TV Tropes page is okay, regardless of what its page image is.
The first image relies on knowledge about legends of Ulysses, which are old but specific enough that it's unreasonable to expect everyone to know. It doesn't look like he is resisting their charm. I like the second; she is enticing him, more obviously to his detriment.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. You can barely see the sirens in the first one, and in the second, I'm not seeing an Enthralling Siren as much as a guy swimming up to his harp-playing sweetheart
10.1 is the best one so far. You can clearly see the cyclops and (albeit less clearly) his sheep walking off a cliff trying to reach the siren due to desire and not anger, based on the cyclops's expression.
And his sweetheart is just hanging out naked with a lyre on a ledge in otherwise-vertical rocks? To me she seems obviously monstrous. (Nevermind her feet. I don't think details involving feet are important.)
Also I like the sea-creature siren better than the harpy siren.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. To each his own. I personally prefer sirens to be different from mermaids myself.
OP/10.1 is the best for me, for similar reasons as @13.
Considering how the guy looks like he's getting on shore, I can't see how he can in any way be "in danger".

I prefer that one too.
5.1 works, but is a little indistinct. 5.2 is kind of crappy. Not too fond of 8 or 9 either.

Check out my fanfiction! That clearly isn't the shore.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.12.2 is good.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI also think 12.2 is the best so far. I think it's a stretch to read what it depicts as a hero safely approaching his lover. 10 on the other hand looks more like the harpy is escaping from the cyclops due to his monstrous appearance.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"What about this piece of artwork◊? The advantage being there little room for it being argued as the guy finding safe harbour. Plus, no boobage.

She seems to be saving him from drowning than causing it...
Erm... pretty sure the guy's dead.
As you'd expect a guy who was drowning and in need of rescuing to look like
Yeah, that last one looks more like she's dragging him out of the water after a shipwreck.

With sirens being one of my favourite mythological creatures, it always bugged me that the Enthralling Siren article doesn't have an image yet. So I decided to search the internet for a suitable image and I finally found this Magic The Gathering image.
Anyone else think this would be a good image for the article?
