Opening and the suggestion seems better.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynmanfor the OP.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Alternatively, there's the other Big Badass Rig from the movie: [1]
Nah, the War Rig has a much more recognisably trucky silhouette than the Doof Wagon. The latter's neat, but it's basically a concert stage with a bit of truck sticking out the bottom.
What's precedent ever done for us?I like the OP.
Check out my fanfiction!OP is good.
The OP also has my support.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Go for the War Rig.
Well, that seems a very solid consensus. Should we work out a caption for it?
What's precedent ever done for us?I'm not sure it needs one, but we can always go for "And you shall arrive at the gates of Valhalla, shiny and chrome!"
I don't know about you, but "shiny" isn't the first adjective I'd think of seeing that. Yes, I know where it's from.
Check out my fanfiction! Is that from something?
The movie itself. Clearly, you have not seen it. Rectify this if you have any love for big dumb-but-in-a-smart-way action spectacle.
What's precedent ever done for us?I've been meaning to but have missed every opportunity I've had so far.
Yes, the current image does a kinda-sorta serviceable job of illustrating the trope, but it doesn't have the necessary sex appeal. It's an ugly, low-res computer model viewed from above, which makes it look like a toy rather than an imposing metal beast. How's about one of the most iconic trucks in recent film history, the War Rig from Mad Max: Fury Road?
