I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!- Watches promo*
Are . . . are they doing a Reign crossover?
A fake. A good fake, but a fake nonetheless.
Awwww. I thought we were really gonna get a JSA show with Alan Scott and Jay Garrick.
They are going to have the JSA in Legends of Tomorrow, but it's not going to include Green Lantern, I believe. They announced a little while ago that Commander Steel, Stargirl, and Obsidian will appear (Obsidian probably taking the place of the Alan Scott Green Lantern, since he will be played by Lance Henricksen). But there's been no mention of Doctor Fate or Sandman.
I noticed it was fake because the Doctor Fate and Stargirl scenes come straight from Smallville and they look really fake because of it. Fate's helmet especially looks plastic.

Behold, the DC/CW Universe's Justice Society of America

I know right?
Little disappointed this isn't "current" Vixen but I guess this works. I just wanted her and Terrific on Team Waverider.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Leather is cheap. It makes you look Real and Edgy (TM) without the producers having to invest a lot of money in DCEU-esque super-armor.
As many movies and shows have proven, live-action super-spandex looks really stupid on screen, so filmmakers have to compensate where they can.

This is a signature. What's wrong with Spandex?
Aside from a troubling tendency to explode on high impact.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! They are not spandex!
He also doesn't exist in DC Comics' current continuity, so seeing him here is a welcome surprise.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So Green Lantern does exist sometime in CW verse.
Crow: There's a plot?
Considering all the recent hints that could be changing
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."It looks like this is a variation on the 2000s JSA rather than the Golden Age version, though if Obsidian is Alan Scott's son, presumably that version did exist at one point. Interesting character choices. With Jay Garrick over on Flash, I'm not sure how a classic lineup originating in WW 2 could work in the tv universe anyway, so the modern day team is probably the best idea.

The actor playing Obsidian confirmed that he is playing the son of Alan Scott in Legends of Tomorrow.
The villains for the four-part crossover, the Dominators are in two of Green Lanterns book starting with Green Lanterns: Rebirth #1 there next appearance was Green Lanterns #8 which is the latest issue.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure
So we have an official Justice Society lineup for season 2:
Hourman, Vixen, Citizen Steel, Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr. Mid-nite.
I really hope Mid-nite gets to have his owl.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.
