Out of curiosity, does Linkara know anything about Frank Miller's...physical...condition?

Well, according to the Uncyclopedia, Miller was killed by Alan Moore in 2007. He was resurrected in 2010 and is currently writing The Goddamn Batman: The Goddamn Master Race.

I kinda think it should. I mean, look what happened in the first pages or so. Everyone was basically saying "I can't diss him when he's like that!" when they saw the most recent picture of Miller.

Surely there was a point where even Linkara was like "Oh Jesus, what the hell happened to you, Miller?" After all, doesn't everyone have standards?

I don't. Regardless of what condition a person is in, if their work is bad—or in Miller's case, downright offensive—their work can be taken to task for that. And given what Miller's last several works, including his last Dark Knight work, were like, I think that people here and elsewhere are perfectly justified in thinking this is going to be bad.

We're free to criticize his work, regardless of the state of his health. We're free to criticize the man and his ideas as well; good taste only dictates that one not mock his illness. Most of us only know the man at all through his work, and thus his work is all we can, responsibly, discuss.

I admit, I also think it's going to be awful.

To me, This is a Win-Win situation. Ether Miller finally makes a good Batman story again, Or we get a hilarious AT 4 W episode. So I'm exited that this is coming out.

I'm kind of looking forwards to this. Either Miller will get one last day in the sun before he dies, or we'll get a kickass Azzarello Batman story. And maybe Azzarello can finish Dark Knight: Boy Wonder.

In spite of everything I can't very well not pick this up (darn my completionism). If nothing else it should be good for a laugh .

Anyway, if by some miracle Miller's on his game, let's hope that Azzarello won't channel whatever the fuck it is he was thinking when he wrote things like Hellblazer, Cage (a series so hilarious in how awkward and offensive it is that it makes the character's earliest appearances look subtle and nuanced) or Before Watchmen: Comedian ("IT'S TIME TO SHIT!!!")

I could use some cake right about now. -sigh- Mortality sucks (though not so much death itself as the physical deterioration leading to it). But back on topic, I hope Frank does surprise us with a masterpiece on par with TDKR or TMWF. Sure I like a good joke at his expense, but it would also be cool for him to once again show us what made him such a strong name in comic books.

Okay call me crazy but i actually think this'll be good.

Mainly because the Miller nsme no longer carries a positive. Having him on a project is a negative more than anything else so the only a they'd take him on is if they knew they could reign him in.

I think it'll be better than Holy Terror and worse than All-Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder.

I don't really read comics as often as I follow them, but even I think any comic can and will be better than Holy Terror.

Heck, I bet people would rather read One More Day twice than read Holy Terror.

I've never read One More Day, only read about it, and I haven't read Holy Terror, and yet of the two I'm more inclined to read Holy Terror.
