Did anyone else think that besides the obvious porn websites = red-light district, gambling websites = casinos?

4chan is the Absurdly Spacious Sewer and the channers are a species of Troll that used to live under bridges, but moved onto sewers, as there are more things to harass more often.

You Tube is a movie theater frequented by the loudest, rudest, and most annoying mobs of people ever.

Like the time I saw the Eureka Seven movie?

I can see it right now. People arguing after watching a movie because religion, politics, abortion or bronies were mentioned in it. And the people (like me) who buy popcorn for comment-reading, not video-watching.

Maybe TV Tropes could be like a library, but there's something in the books that makes them super addictive. So maybe like a Lotus-Eater Machine.

It's like a fucking maze but has librarians who know what they're doing and can direct you to the book you want, but the books all reference other books and you'll eventually end up with a giant cart of books to read later.

Tumblr? Fan convention turned into a full-on free-for-all.

Tumblr is the angst riddled hipster coffee shop where everyone tries to act more opressed and attention whoring than the other person.

It is also prone to getting rebuilt after a fire breaks out.

@dA is the weird side of flockmod

1. dA isn't a real time collab thing like flockmod is supposed to be
2. >implying dA is weirder than flockmod. m9, i've seen necrololicest- the Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot of Squick- on flockmod and it stayed there for more than half an hour after being finished. Free speech is taken to the extreme there. I've seen badly drawn dicks (as in the kind that immature kids practice graffiti with) remain for over 5 minutes because nobody wanted to erase an in-progress drawing and risk being kicked. The only thing stopping truly Brain Bleach-worthy things being drawn is that "real time" imposes a time constraint. oops this became a rant

I reckon dA would be an art gallery where anyone is allowed to contribute and as such it filled up with smut and mary sues.

That's fucking perfect.

And ok, maybe DA is the weird part of town full of "street art" vendors who ask for stupidly high prices in actual money, but stupidly low with the "local currency" that's worth nothing outside said "art" street. And is filled with badly drawn mary sues and disturbingly well drawn smut of strange tastes.
