Opening, since I don't see how they fit the trope, period.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWouldn't they be Highly-Visible Ninja or something? Like Ninjas who do not use stealth at all.
Anyway motion to pull. Also if someone wants to take this to TRS for a rename I support it, there is a lot of misuse for just ninjas not in dark outfits not ones trying to be stealthy. Ninjas long since stopped being solely stealthy assassins a long time ago due to their popularity with kids.

An image search of Mortal Kombat ninjas shows a lot of suitable images, though most of them are a little too horizontal.

That has the same problem as the PPG pic: namely, it doesn't show that the ninjas are actually meant to be stealthy.
Deadpool might work.
A requirement for this trope is being stealthy. It's an unusual requirement since ninjas in fiction are many times anything but, especially if they are the rainbow squad.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Yeah, 'ninjas' arnt stealthy assassins much anymore it is far more common for them to be flashy loud fighters that haven't ever heard of 'stealth' before. They still have their stereotypical weapons and 'magic' skills but straight up and fight instead of stealth.
Heck the Senran Kagura games feature buxom ninjas in absurd costumes in a Beat 'em Up or a Cooking Battle game without a single stealthy element.
And that isn't even counting those who arnt ninjas trying to Metal Gear it up in neon yellow outfits... This trope has a bad name.
As it stands though Deadpool might be the closest we get to the trope even though he actually isn't this trope very much. He normally would be the loud ninja that doesn't know anything about stealth, which is exactly what we don't want.
Anyone got a screenshot of Naked Snake in Metal Gear Solid 3 or Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker stealthing it up in some absurd outfit?

Speaking of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, I want to say the last boss fight would make a good image, but other than it being a bit of a spoiler, I also don't think it counts, since the stealth actually comes from the colouration.
Check out my fanfiction!I was thinking of his Cold War outfit but all the screens I find are from Smash Bros [1]
Yeah, a technicolour background isn't the best here.
Randomly, my playlist chose an MGS remix for just now.
Check out my fanfiction!I like Deadpool. Both his costume and behavior there is "loud," but he's clearly being successful at stealth.

When I first saw this trope, Ninjago was the first thing I thought of. While i don't watch the show myself, I know people who do so I asked for any scenes that might work.
My friend provided me with this picture. [1]◊ So that's an option.

But are Ninjago an example of Technicolor Ninja or Highly-Visible Ninja?
From what I've seen of the show (which is very little, I just catch glimpses when my nephews watch) they don't use ninjustsu but spinjutsu, which is a full frontal spinning elemental attack. I don't think they're this trope.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.As I said I'm not too familiar with the show myself, so I couldn't say. I think it's mostly Highly-Visible Ninja. It IS listed on this page though, to be fair. Even if they're usually not stealthy, moments when they are can still count right?
^^^Un-broke that image.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThank you very much. I'm a long time lurker here, but don't do much editing so when I try to things tend to break.
While they are highly visible, the Ninjago do practice stealth time and again throughout the whole series. Unfortunately, it's hard to convey that they're actually being stealthy in a screenshot. The pic of them sticking their heads around the wall does show them being cautious not to be seen though.
I suppose that does imply at least some degree of sneakiness, but I think Deadpool's pose is much more obvious in demonstrating that, so it still holds my vote.
Also, I feel that the Ninjago image suggested does run the risk getting the trope confused with Highly-Visible Ninja as it portrays both at the same time.
Bumping this topic as I think it was on the verge of resolution before falling by the wayside. Should be do a crowner or is there enough consensus for Deadpool?
Another vote or two for Deadpool and we can run with him.
Sure. Doesn't seem like we're getting anything better anyway.
Check out my fanfiction!I like Deadpool. The fourth-wall-breaking shush is just perfect
Demonstrates the title, not what the trope's about - characters who are stealthy in spite of their garnish outfits.
If I remember correctly, The Powerpuff Girls are anything but actual ninjas, much less usually stealthy.
Even if they do demonstrate, that would put the image under Just A Face And A Caption since we don't know if they are incredibly stealthy anyway.
