Hunger Games Simulator with Literary Characters

EDIT: I noticed most of the posts have ended up being lists of characters I don't recognize. I figure the same probably goes for my post, so I've gone back and linked the characters to the works they're from. Hopefully this way it'll introduce people to things they haven't read. I only used characters from works I liked (though some have flaws, and even vocal hatedoms), so I recommend all of them.

I found a Hunger Games simulator here where you enter names of contenstants, and get back a randomly-generated log of their deaths/kills in the Hunger Games.

Just for fun, I plugged in characters from books I've read, and got these results:

Mulan grabs a backpack, not realizing it is empty.
John Smith falls into a pit and dies.
Prince Florian, Prince Charming, Kristoff, and Snow White track down and kill Pocahontas.
Prince Phillip takes a sickle from inside the cornucopia.
Aurora stays at the cornucopia for resources.
Ariel and Naveen run from the cornucopia together.
Belle, Aladdin, and Jasmine work together to get as many supplies as possible.
Meridia finds a bow, some arrows, and a quiver.
Cinderella snatches a bottle of alcohol and a rag.
Anna grabs a backpack, not realizing it is empty.
Li Shang grabs a backpack and retreats.
Rapunzel and Elsa fight for a bag. Rapunzel gives up and retreats.
Tiana runs away with a lighter and some rope.
Eric finds a backpack full of camping equipment.


To recap: The "Bloodbath" is relatively bloodless, with District Seven taking the two casualties. John Smith makes an embarrassing exit, and Snow, her beau, Charming and the Ice Man decide that they hate "Colours of the Wind".
Meridia also gets the luckiest cornucopia find ever, and Rapunzel decides not to fuck with the Ice Queen.
Ariel also decides to cheat on Eric, and Cinderella is already hitting the bottle.


Day One
Li Shang makes a wooden spear.
Aladdin attacks Prince Phillip, but he manages to escape.
Cinderella receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.
Kristoff, Ariel, and Snow White search the arena together for other tributes.
Naveen steals from Flynn Rider while he isn't looking.
Jasmine and Prince Florian work together for the day.
Anna is pricked by several thorns while picking berries.
Aurora practices her archery.
Prince Charming, Belle, and Beast unsuccessfully ambush Rapunzel, Meridia, and Mulan, who kill them instead.
Tiana receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.
Eric diverts Elsa's attention and runs away.


Day One almost draws to close with four more kills. A Berserker and two non-combatants decide to attack a Fighter, Archer and a Healer, and pay the price. What did you expect from Fa "My kill count is in the thousands" Mulan?
Cinderella also gets gifts from her fairy godmother, the guy who sells ice seems to really like Snow, the black guy manages to rob a thief, and Eric wisely decides not to fuck with the Snow Queen.

However, the Capitol decides five deaths in the first day is too little, and create a poison smoke cloud.


Day One: Arena Event
A cloud of poisonous smoke starts to fill the arena.
Li Shang sacrifices himself so Mulan can get away.
Aladdin and Kristoff agree to die in the cloud together, but Aladdin pushes Kristoff in without warning.
Snow White is engulfed in the cloud of poisonous smoke.
Tiana is engulfed in the cloud of poisonous smoke.
Jasmine and Anna decide to run into the cloud together.
Prince Florian is engulfed in the cloud of poisonous smoke.
Elsa slowly pushes Ariel closer and closer to the cloud until she can't resist any more.
Cinderella is engulfed in the cloud of poisonous smoke.


Li Shang brings honour upon his family with his final act. Anna and Kristoff both attempt double suicides with Aladdin and Jasmine, but Aladdin proves to be a cowardly bastard.
Elsa, on the other hand, uses the smoke as a weapon to kill off Ariel.

By sundown on Day One, fourteen tributes are dead. Districts One, Two, Five, Seven and Twelve are completely wiped.


Night One

Aladdin sees a fire, but stays hidden.
Eric stabs Naveen while his back is turned.
Mulan cries herself to sleep.
Flynn Rider shoots an arrow into Elsas head.
Prince Phillip and Rapunzel tell stories about themselves to each other.
Meridia tries to find other tributes, but is unsuccessful.
Aurora cries herself to sleep.


Naveen gets taken out Eric in a surprise attack. Flynn can't get "Let It Go" out of his head, so he decides to take everything out Elsa's.
Mulan should be made of stronger stuff though.


Day Two

Flynn Rider fishes.
Eric scares Meridia off.
Rapunzel explores the arena.
Aurora tries to sleep through the entire day.
Mulan defeats Aladdin in a fight, but spares his life.
Prince Phillip is pricked by several thorns while picking berries.


Rapunzel really likes exploring, doesn't she? Also, Mulan and Aladdin fight, but Mulan spares him as he fought well.
Also, Sleeping Beauty sleeps the whole day. Huh.


So, as the sun sets- wait, no, another arena event.


Day Two Arena Event
Monkey mutts fill the arena.

Meridia is pummeled to the ground and killed by a troop of monkey mutts.
Rapunzel dies from internal bleeding caused by a monkey mutt.
Mulan is pummeled to the ground and killed by a troop of monkey mutts.
Aladdin is pummeled to the ground and killed by a troop of monkey mutts.


So instead of two, there are now six dead. Meridia, Mulan and Aladdin die ignoble deaths at the hands of the muttations, while Rapunzel escapes but is unable to heal her own internal wounds.

So, as night sets on Day Two, twenty tributes are dead. District Three is at full strength, while Districts Four and Ten have lost their princesses. Everyone else has been fully wiped.


Night Two

Prince Phillip, Eric, and Flynn Rider discuss the games and what might happen in the morning.
Aurora looks at the night sky.


A peaceful night.


Day Three

Eric camouflauges himself in the bushes.
Prince Phillip and Flynn Rider work together for the day.
Aurora dies from an infection.


In a shock death, the last Disney Princess falls into an everlasting sleep.
Eric leaves the temporary Prince Truce, but Phillip and Flynn keep it up for now.


At the end of Day Three, we have our final three. Districts Three, Four and Ten are rooting their Princes on.

Night Three

Prince Phillip shoots an arrow into Flynn Rider's head.
Eric attempts to climb a tree, but falls to his death.


Phillip must've liked Elsa, as he gives Flynn Rider a Karmic Death.
As Phillip stalks through the Arena, looking for the last tribute, the cannon sounds, telling him that Eric has died by misadventure.

Our winner: Prince Phillip of District Three: Sleeping Beauty.

He goes on to live a full life, until the Lannisters murder him at his own wedding.

Day 1: Togami collects fruit from a tree.

Ibuki dies from hunger.

Hagakure overpowers Nanami, killing her.

Nidai, Souda, Sonia, and Mukuro hunt for other tributes.

Junko diverts Peko's attention and runs away.

Gundam convinces Mukuro to not kill him, only to kill her instead.

Ishimaru is unable to start a fire and sleeps without warmth.

Hinata cries himself to sleep.

Sonia receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor.

Sakura destroys Nidai's supplies while he is asleep.

Souda accidently detonates a land mine while trying to arm it.

Summary: Most people are boring or doing normalish things. Gundam tricks Mukuro, Hinata is a wimp, Sonia gets aid from her kingdom, Sakura is a betch and destroys supplies that Nidai managed to pull out of his ass, Souda is an idiot and blows himself up despite being the Ultimate Mechanic, and there’s weird yuri that I didn’t plan for.

Day 2:

Kuzuryuu receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor.

Fujisaki camouflauges himself in the bushes.

Sonia searches for firewood.

Fukawa picks flowers.

Celes sees smoke rising in the distance, but decides not to investigate.

Nidai receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor.

Junko defeats Gundam in a fight, but spares his life.

Naegi begs for Hagakure to kill him. He refuses, keeping Naegi alive.

Ishimaru overhears Togami and Maizono talking in the distance.

Sakura attacks Hinata, but he manages to escape.

Summary: While most people find things or fight (or hide and think and shit), Nidai and Kuzuryuu get weapons, Asahina’s sponsors send her donuts, Fukawa decides “fuck this shit, I want some flowers to give to Togami”, and a possible alliance is formed between Togami and Maizono.

Night 2:

Asahina, Sonia, and Celes discuss the games and what might happen in the morning.

Owari convinces Yamada to snuggle with her.

Komaeda lets Kuzuryuu into his shelter.

Gundam loses sight of where he is.

Sakura receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor.

Naegi defeats Togami in a fight, but spares his life.

Fujisaki lets Maizono into his shelter.

Fukawa receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.

Junko thinks about winning.

Peko tries to sing herself to sleep.

Hagakure begs for Nidai to kill him. He refuses, keeping Hagakure alive.

Summary: People are strangely willing to share shelters, Owari decides to go at a boy this time, people get supplies, people fight, and Ishi passes out because eavesdropping on Togami and Maizono took a lot out of him.

Sonia sprains her ankle while running away from Hinata.

Sakura sets an explosive off, killing Naegi, Kuzuryuu, Fukawa and Junko.

Ishimaru sees smoke rising in the distance, but decides not to investigate.

Hagakure stalks Maizono.

Owari receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.

Togami poisons Celes's drink. She drinks it and dies.

Gundam fishes.

Asahina receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor.

Yamada steals from Peko while she isn't looking.

Nidai stalks Komaeda.

Fujisaki discovers a river.

Summary: Sakura causes major casualties, Togami gets his poison on, people get stalked, and more sponsor gifts. Also, was Gundam fishing at Fujisaki’s river?

Night 3:

Asahina fends Hagakure, Yamada, and Togami away from her fire.

Komaeda, Peko, and Sonia cheerfully sing songs together.

Nidai thinks about winning.

Maizono loses sight of where she is.

Gundam tries to sing himself to sleep.

Hinata looks at the night sky.

Owari strangles Sakura with a rope.

Ishimaru destroys Fujisaki's supplies while he is asleep.

Summary: Asahina fends off some of the boys, some of the SDR 2 crew decide to sing together, Owari is tired of Sakura’s shit and strangles her (nuuuuu!), and Ishimaru is an asshole.

Day 4:

Gundam receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.

Nidai, Yamada, Asahina, and Owari raid Fujisaki's camp while he is hunting.

Ishimaru and Peko hunt for other tributes.

Hagakure receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.

Hinata and Togami hunt for other tributes.

Komaeda tries to sleep through the entire day.

Maizono diverts Sonia's attention and runs away. Summary: Tributes are hunted, supplies and water are received, Fujisaki gets his shit stolen again, and Komaeda is too tired from singing songs and sleeps.

Night 4:

Hinata thinks about winning.

Yamada lets Hagakure into his shelter.

Komaeda, Nidai, and Sonia cheerfully sing songs together.

Ishimaru climbs a tree to rest.

Owari tracks down and kills Fujisaki.

Gundam poisons Asahina's drink, but mistakes it for his own and dies.

Peko sees a fire, but stays hidden.

Togami and Maizono hold hands.

Summary: Komaeda and Sonia sing again (this time with Nidai joining them), poor Fujisaki’s last day consists of getting killed and getting his stuff stolen, Gundam is stupid with poison, and Togami and Maizono’s alliance escalates.

Day 5:

Maizono, Nidai, and Hinata unsuccessfully ambush Ishimaru, Peko, and Hagakure, who kill them instead.

Owari injures herself.

Togami scares Komaeda off.

Asahina defeats Sonia in a fight, but spares her life.

Yamada is pricked by thorns while picking berries.

Summary: People get hurt; a hall monitor, a swordswoman, and a fortune teller turn the tables on an idol singer, a coach, and a bland reserve course student.

Night 5:

Owari sets an explosive off, killing Peko.

Komaeda receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.

Asahina attempts to climb a tree, but falls on Sonia, killing them both.

Ishimaru, Hagakure, Togami, and Yamada tell each other ghost stories to lighten the mood.

Summary: Peko goes boom, and, thanks to Asahina, the Japanese Olympic team needs a new swimmer and Novoselic needs a new heir to the throne. Everyone else, however, seems to have a decent night.

Feast (Cornucopia is replenished)

Owari decides not to go to The Feast.

Yamada and Ishimaru threaten a double suicide. It fails and they die.

Komaeda decides not to go to The Feast.

Togami decides not to go to The Feast.

Hagakure decides not to go to The Feast.

Summary: Almost everyone avoids the feast. Yamada and Ishimaru both kill themselves despite their double suicide attempt somehow not working.

Not posting day 6 or night 6 because all that ensues is non-lethal fighting, getting shit, and Hagakure passing out.

Day 7:

Togami ambushes Owari and kills her.

Hagakure steals from Komaeda while he isn't looking.

Summary: Brains win over brawn, and more stuff gets stolen.

Night 7:

Togami poisons Komaeda's drink. He drinks it and dies.

Hagakure dies from hunger.

Summary: Togami finds that he really likes poison and Hagakure dies from hunger…during the Hunger Games. Fitting way for him to go, I guess.

The winner is Togami from District 2!

The Togami Corporation doesn’t lose its heir, and Togami leads a life somehow more prosperous than it was before the games.

The Bloodbath ~ Cloud takes a handful of throwing knives. Foxy runs away from the Cornucopia. Link runs away from the Cornucopia. Kairi runs away from the Cornucopia. Sora convinces Zelda to not kill him, only to kill her instead. Minx takes a sickle from inside the cornucopia. Mario runs away from the Cornucopia. Paula scares Maka away from the cornucopia. Fox runs away from the Cornucopia. Krystal finds a canteen full of water. Aerith runs away from the Cornucopia. Peach takes a sickle from inside the cornucopia. Ness runs away from the Cornucopia. Wade grabs a backpack and retreats. Chica finds a backpack full of camping equipment. Pewdiepie grabs a backpack and retreats. Soul snatches a bottle of alcohol and a rag. Marzia runs away from the Cornucopia. Carmelita grabs a sword. Mark runs away from the Cornucopia. Bob runs away from the Cornucopia. Sly finds a bag full of explosives.

For being called the Bloodbath, it wasn't very bloody. Zelda was the only casualty, due to Sora's deception. Most people avoided the Cornucopia, but Paula shows Maka that she's a Type 2 Tsundere, by frightening her away. Lots of backpacks were found, and god damn it Soul, are you even old enough to drink? Sly has bombs now, so this ought to be interesting.

Day 1 ~ Cloud tends to Chica's wounds. Peach severely slices Fox with a sword. Maka scares Minx off. Wade and Kairi work together for the day. Aerith, Sora, Sly, Bob, and Link hunt for other tributes. Krystal throws a knife into Foxy's chest. Carmelita diverts Marzia's attention and runs away. Ness receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor. Soul and Mark split up to search for resources. Mario camouflauges himself in the bushes. Pewdiepie collects fruit from a tree. Paula unknowingly eats toxic berries.

Well first of all, I don't know how Chica hurt herself, but Cloud Takes a Level in Kindness, by helping the avian animatronic out. Moving on, wow, things got brutal fast, with Peach taking out Fox violently, and Krystal knifing Foxy right off the bat. Soul and Mark are apparently working with each other at the moment, but are split up. Ness got a hatchet from Escargo Express. Paula meanwhile ate deadly nightshade, and due to her lack of Healing PSI, promptly dies. Also, it seems Kairi is cheating on Sora for Wade... god damn it Wade.

Night 1 ~ Link receives clean water from an unknown sponsor. Maka receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor. Mario defeats Pewdiepie in a fight, but spares his life. Mark thinks about home. Marzia and Chica huddle for warmth. Carmelita and Wade tell stories about themselves to each other. Krystal bleeds out due to untreated injuries. Aerith receives fresh food from an unknown sponsor. Ness, Kairi, and Minx discuss the games and what might happen in the morning. Sora kills Peach with a hatchet. Cloud and Bob run into each other and decide to truce for the night. Soul kills Sly with a sickle.

The sponsors were very active the first night, handing out supplies left and right. Also, the web of infidelity continues, as Wade starts chatting up Camelita, who's now cheating on Sly. Not that it matters, since Sly got himself murdered by Soul. Ness, Kairi and Minx are on good terms, while Bob and Cloud currently have a truce. Also apparently Foxy had gotten one on Krystal before getting knifed, as she died from blood loss. Finally, Sora goes and kills Peach with a hatchet... those hatchets seem to be ubiquitous to the game so far.

Day 2 ~ Link, Sora, Marzia, Aerith, and Minx hunt for other tributes. Kairi discovers a river. Carmelita and Soul split up to search for resources. Mario picks flowers. Cloud constructs a shack. Wade receives clean water from an unknown sponsor. Bob picks flowers. Chica, Mark, Ness, and Pewdiepie raid Maka's camp while she is hunting.

Kairi finds a river, while Carmelita and Soul formed an alliance of sorts due to the fact that they split to find resources. Mario and Bob pick flowers while Cloud builds himself a bit of a shelter. Finally, Chica, Mark, Ness and Pewds go and rob Maka while she was out, those A-holes. On the bright side... there was no death.

Night 2 ~ Wade receives fresh food from an unknown sponsor. Minx, Chica, and Kairi discuss the games and what might happen in the morning. Ness, Marzia, Mark, and Cloud tell each other ghost stories to lighten the mood. Link receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor. Sora pushes Aerith off a cliff during a knife fight. Mario throws a knife into Pewdiepie's chest. Carmelita thinks about winning. Maka and Soul run into each other and decide to truce for the night. Bob questions his sanity.

Well, Sora decided to give Aerith an Inverted Disney Villain Death, by throwing her off the cliff. Mario apparently had learned a trick from Krystal, killing Pewds the same way she killed Foxy. Maka and Soul meet up, and call a truce, as they should, considering they're partners. Link gets a bomb, and Bob starts going insane! Chica, Minx and Kairi have a ladies' night, while Marzia hangs out with Mark, Ness, and Cloud. Is it just me, or are Ness and Mark working with each other?

Day 3 ~ Wade attacks Sora, but he manages to escape. Chica, Link, Ness, and Mario raid Bob's camp while he is hunting. Minx, Mark, and Marzia hunt for other tributes. Carmelita receives fresh food from an unknown sponsor. Kairi receives clean water from an unknown sponsor. Soul dies trying to escape the arena. Maka fishes. Cloud dies trying to escape the arena.

Wade attempts to Murder the Hypotenuse to win over Kairi. The sponsors start getting active again. Bob gets robbed by Team Nintendo... and Chica. The other Youtubers start working together to track down the other tributes, and Soul and Cloud die together, trying to get out. Also, Maka tries her hand at fishing.

Night 3 ~ Maka receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor. Mario tends to his wounds. Mark and Link talk about the tributes still alive. Ness convinces Wade to snuggle with him. Minx pushes Chica off a cliff during a knife fight. Bob receives fresh food from an unknown sponsor. Sora tries to treat his infection. Marzia tends to Kairi's wounds. Carmelita tries to sing herself to sleep.

And the sponsors start revealing their love of hatchets, as they begin handing them out. Ness produces some strong Ho Yay as he convinces Wade to snuggle with him, which also further adds to our complicated web of infidelity. Also, Minx sends Chica off to the game's second Disney Villain Death, probably laughing her ass off as she does so. Also, Marzia helps Kairi out. Mario and Sora are forced to treat their injuries themselves though.

Day 4 ~ Mario travels to higher ground. Marzia travels to higher ground. Maka, Carmelita, Ness, and Bob raid Wade's camp while he is hunting. Mark injures himself. Minx receives an explosive from an unknown sponsor. Sora, Link, and Kairi hunt for other tributes.

Marzia and Mario travel together to higher ground while Wade gets robbed by Maka, Carmelita, Ness and Bob. Mark somehow hurts himself, and Minx becomes infinitely more dangerous once the sponsors gave her a bomb. Also Sora and Kairi work with Link to hunt the others.

Night 4 ~ Kairi stabs Bob while his back is turned. Link, Maka, and Minx cheerfully sing songs together. Ness fends Marzia, Mario, and Wade away from his fire. Mark passes out from exhaustion. Carmelita looks at the night sky. Sora receives clean water from an unknown sponsor.

Kairi Took a Level in Badass when she went and literally backstabbed Bob. Meanwhile, Link, Maka, and Minx have a karaoke night, while Ness singlehandedly fights off Marzia, Mario and Wade. Also, Mark overexerts himself apparently.

Day 5 ~ Carmelita tries to sleep through the entire day. Link travels to higher ground. Wade is pricked by thorns while picking berries. Maka camouflauges herself in the bushes. Marzia kills Minx with her own weapon. Mario's trap kills Mark. Ness camouflauges himself in the bushes. Sora severely slices Kairi with a sword. (WTH Sora!?)

Carmelita pulls a Sleeping Beauty, while Link climbs higher. Maka and Ness hide in the bushes, while Marzia managed to kill Minx with her own bombs. Mario successfully trapped and killed Mark... not surprising considering that he was passing out and hurting himself... Finally, Sora finds out about Kairi's fling with Wade, and promptly murders her, Yandere style. What the Hell Hero!? indeed.

Night 5 ~ Marzia shoots a poisonous blow dart into Mario's neck, slowly killing him. Sora is unable to convince Wade to not kill him. Carmelita is awoken by nightmares. Ness questions his sanity. Link cooks his food before putting his fire out. Maka loses sight of where she is.

Marzia shows skill in the use of blow darts, using them to slowly and painfully kill Mario. Wade gets revenge on Sora for killing Kairi despite the Keyblader begging for mercy. Also Ness gets mushroomized into insanity. Finally, Maka gets lost, plain and simple.

The Feast ~ Link, Carmelita, Wade, Ness, and Marzia track down and kill Maka.

Everyone ignores the cornucopia and promptly gang up on Maka. I guess they were tired of getting Maka-Chopped.

Day 6 ~ Wade attacks Marzia, but she manages to escape. Carmelita dies from hunger. Ness steals from Link while he isn't looking.

Wade fails to take out Marzia like the loser he is. (no offense Wade if you're actually reading this. It's all in good fun) Carmelita starves to death, and Ness robs Link.

Night 6 ~ Marzia bleeds out due to untreated injuries. Link receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor. Ness receives a hatchet from an unknown sponsor. Wade receives medical supplies from an unknown sponsor.

Apparently Wade did get a hit on Marzia before she escaped, and promptly bled out. Also, we get to see more of the sponsors' obsession with hatchets.

Day 7 ~ Link severely injures Ness and leaves him to die. Wade dies from hypothermia.

Link gets revenge on Ness for robbing him, by promptly killing him. Also, Wade freezes to death... wow.

The winner is Link!
