Usually if I'm taking my amiibos (or Disney Infinity figures) places, I have a shoebox I typically carry them around in. Of course, it doesn't stop me from getting concerned that someone's going to lose and arm/leg/tail, but it works for me.

Yeah, most amiibo just seem ill fit for travel unless inside a special container. (Such as the box they are sold in.)

Several amiibo (including some rare ones like Pit and Villager) have been reissued, and I'm having fun picking up some of the ones I missed.
As nice as the first wave of Super Mario Bros. amiibo looks, I think they may have been a little too big. I picked up Peach yesterday and was amused to discover that she's taller than Donkey Kong!

Rumor has it Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta are all coming out when the Switch port of Smash 4 releases. What I wanna know is, will they be compatible with Yoshi's Woolly World? I wanna see Cloud Yoshi and Bayonetta Yoshi! Come to think of it... Is Ryu compatible?

Man, that's too bad. I guess Yoshi's Woolly World wasn't a very high-profile game, but you look me in the eye and tell me the prospect of Bayonetta Yoshi isn't a good enough reason to put Good-Feel back to work.

Well, there's the upcoming 3DS port, which we know supports a Poochie amiibo. So there may be hope yet...

Sure—hope for the 3DS port! I really doubt they'd update the original Woolly World to make the amiibo compatible. It's like 75% of announced first-party content for the Switch (i.e. enhanced ports of Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, and Breath of the Wild) are a big middle finger to Wii U owners who actually bought the games the first time. Que sera.

More specifically: in Splatoon, the Inklings had new clothes, weapons, and hairstyles (tentaclestyles?); and in Mario Kart 8, King Boo was playable, and the HUD showed that you could carry two items at once.
