What's the limit on character creation?
So, I thought of starting up an RP I made on Bulbagarden a while ago. It's a fantasy RP that has nations and continents based off of and named after their counterparts in real life. I might want to give it a better name, though. Anyone interested?
The truth can oft be more misleading... I'm driven by greed, guilt, rage, and despair, but I'll never try to justify haughtiness.: Might be interested.
We're still working on it, will probably have a sign-up thread within a week or so. Was there something specific you had in mind?
If you mean the amount of characters per player, the limit is two. Power level should generally not be above Super Wheight 3.
I mean what kind of characters can we create? They are meant to be governmental weapons so what's the extent on that? Humans? Mutants?
I'd definitely be interested.
Okay, so, I thought over the Evolving Weapon idea- And then thought back to Save the Worlds, a Massive Multiplayer Crossover roleplay. With a touch of inspiration from Freedom Wars, I've come up with a roleplay idea I think would be really fun. So, without ado...
Defenders of The Omniverse is a Boxed Crook Massive Multiplayer Crossover roleplay, with the Player characters being criminals (wrongfully convicted or not) who are sent into other universes to deal with prominent issues happening there. Either an original character or a favorite, each Player will also have an Evolving Weapon / Security Device, partially to enable weaker characters & partially for Rule of Cool.
I can go into more detail if anyone is interested, and I can start this up at any time.

Anybody interested in an old-school Dungeons And Dragons RP? Most likely using old-school rules like Advanced D&D or retro-clones like Microlite 74. Though I am open to Third Edition or Fifth Edition.

Last Interest Check on Mirror's Edge Cyperkun-ish parkour RP. Can be found Here.
I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos.I now have a sign-up thread for the prison escape RP I wanted to start. You can find it here if you're interested.
Your works are one trope short.I remember... was it doing or participating? It was a successful RP where all of the players were gods in a fantasy setting.
Hi. This is a roleplay idea based off of a manga/anime. But no prior knowledge is needed. I was going to put it up, but I was unsure if anyone would actually be interested.
General Plot
Hellsalem's Lot, a city swelling with activity and creatures of all different kinds. Formerly known as New York City, it's name changed twenty years ago, when a massive portal to the Alter Realm opened in the center of the city. From this portal, beings of all different shapes, sizes and powers began to flood into our world. Now, we humans co-exist with them, as our worlds have merged almost completely. But with these new residents, new problems arose.
Although our world leaders co-existed and negotiated with theirs, these individuals brought in strange powers and crime levels began to rise all throughout the city. While we adapted to each other, it was realized that we would need a new type of task force.
Thus, Libra was created.
Libra is a secretive organization centered in Hellsalem's lot. Some of these trained professionals have mastered a technique called the Blood Arts, a type of power that came from the Alter Realms, involving the use of one's blood to create destructive, almighty weaponry. However, those who have not chosen to train using these techniques are also immensely capable individuals.
Those who are in Libra are always worthy opponents that should never be underestimated. These secretive agents both work inside and outside of the city, and there are rumors that they have secret bases stationed all throughout the world. However, due to how little is known about them, their secrets are worth billions to the underground world…
However, Libra doesn't typically get along with law enforcement. Although they are typically left alone by the government due to how they protect the general populace, most law enforcement agents consider them to be mavericks that have taken the law into their own hands. Yet, they will cooperate if the circumstances are severe enough. Even some major government officials are wary of Libra.
Welcome to Hellsalem's Lot, where life is never dull.

Explanations
Blood Arts; the Blood Arts are a type of power that descended from the Alter Realms. Originally, it was created by a demon called Principium. However, Principium passed these powers down to individuals of both good and bad character, purely to create chaos among the world. These Blood Arts have been passed down for a few generations now, and while they are a great weapon against the evils of the world, there are also antagonists who have mastered these abilities. The Blood Arts typically involve pricking one's own skin and manipulating the blood. However, there are different ways to do this.
Some people have sophisticated weapons that have mechanical mechanisms that prick the skin, and other people blatantly slash their own skin in order to create their weapon. Generally, there is a wide variety of weapons that can be created.
Heavier fighters tend to go with weapons that suit them more, such as axes or even using their own fists in some manner, while lighter fights might use daggers and such. It generally takes an extended amount of time to successfully create a weapon, and it'll take even longer to learn how to wield it. It's incredibly rare that someone can create more than one weapon, with only one recorded case that some even regard as only being a myth.
Libra; the organization of Libra is one that is run separately from the governments of the world. Due to this, they are also pursued by the police at times. Yet, major government officials tend to leave the agents of Libra alone, because of how well they can handle the chaos that emerges from the Alter Realm. Not all Libra members use the Blood Arts, but all of them are known to be incredibly powerful. They are all formidable foes. But it's incredibly rare that someone can actually track down members of Libra. If Libra has taken an interest in someone, they will approach that person, not the other way around.
Libra operates around the world, but they're centered in Hellsalem's Lot, where most of the chaos emerges from the Alter Realm. Often, they are forced to negotiate or quarrel with underground groups that engage in illegal actions. Libra's main concern has always been with creating a balance between Earth and the Alter Realms. They do not put humanity above individuals and creatures that come from the Alter Realm.
The Blood Conglomerate; A terrifying organization that comes from the Alter Realm. The Blood Conglomerate was created by several blood breeds that managed to get over their differences and cooperate. Using their advanced powers and the assistance of Quillan Smithereens alongside other members, they've managed to get a cult following. At times, they're able to broadcast on televisions across the globe, spreading their messages and trying to sway others into joining their cause.
The All Seeing Eyes of God; The All Seeing Eyes of God is an artifact that is given to individuals by the demon Riga El Menuhyut. These powerful artifacts are only given by Riga El Menuhyut when a major cataclysm happens in the world. Those who hold the eyes are known to be observers to history. But in exchange for the eyes, Riga El Menuhyut blinds the person who is closest to the holder.
These eyes are capable of seeing the "truth' of the world, and they give the holders numerous abilities including heightened visual senses, allowing them to see impossibly fast movements that no one else would usually be able to see, and allows them to see into the past or the future. Eye holders are also capable of altering and controlling the vision of those around them, and projecting what the user sees into the minds of others.
They can see through illusions. However, if the user overuses their powers, their brain can become damaged. After the user first gets the eyes, it takes their brain weeks to adjust to them.
The eyes are incredibly valuable. There have been fifty-three known cases throughout the world. There have been several times when eye holders have been killed for their powers, or when eye holders have overloaded themselves, causing the eyes to crack and become damaged beyond repair.
Auras; Auras are the life force that radiates off of every living being. Usually, only those who have the All Seeing Eyes can see others' auras. But there are certain species that can also detect auras and such. Auras are all different colors. There are thousands of different aura colors within the world, but those who have the All Seeing Eyes can usually tell the difference between each and every one of them.
The two rarest colors are #FF 0000 and #FFFFFF. #FF 0000 or absolute red is the color of blood breeds, also known as pure vampires. And #FFFFFF or pure white is the color of godly beings.

Recently, I've gotten the idea of RP'ing a Bar Brawl and it's fallout, with the working title, "You All Meet at an Inn". Everyone's back at the pub after a week down the Dungeon looking to waste their cut on booze and look for new adventures when one of the local drunks starts something...
I suppose I'd have to hammer out a quick and dirty system for it, but what do you say?
Now everyone pat me on the back and tell me how clever I am!aaaaaaaa
Ahem, sorry. I'd be up for an rp about that!
That sounds interesting too
off the shitsThat's one interested person. I'd like at least 3 players, though.
Erm, do I post the system guide here in Signups or Discussions?
Now everyone pat me on the back and tell me how clever I am!@Ringabel: Oh that be a fun rp! So would we banned form Vampires?
They can't for the life of them understand why nobody liked being ruled by a group of manic depressive demigods - 4chanI wouldn't say banned! I would want the RP to progress a little before I allowed anyone to make a vampire, though.
While I'm still planning on doing that nightmare-hunting RP at some point, I've had a bit of writer's block in planning it and my interest has kind of waned as a result.
So instead, I'd really like to do something with magical girls or something along those lines. I've been debating between rebooting Guild of Friendship, a Magical Girl crossover RP (compared to the original iteration, this one would be episode-based, though it'd still be somewhat open-ended) or doing a non-crossover that'd be on the darker, more dramatic side of things (though it wouldn't be anywhere near Madoka levels of grimdark).
Again, I'd be planning these out first before creating a sign-up to prevent them from dying halfway into the first leg.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I might be up for joining a magical girl crossover game.
I never really took part in the MG genre, but I'd try it.
I'd like to join again, probably
off the shitsI got plenty of ideas so I could always help out, and personally I would go with the episodic original setting.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."
I'm perfectly fine with it then.
