[up] I still say that Cow And Chicken, Billy And Mandy and Johnny Bravo were the acme of Cartoon Cartoons and no show could ever surpass them...

The only really good action cartoon to come out of CN was Samurai Jack.

Okay that's true, Samurai Jack was beautiful and Aku was adorable.

[up]x4 [awesome][awesome][awesome] Thank you.

For me, CN has actually been on an upswing in terms of their overall output, save for Teen Titans Go - not a fan, sorry. And that includes the easy-to-bash stuff like Clarence and Uncle Grandpa, too, in terms of stuff I actually like to sit down to.

Sure CN does need more action and better treatment of it, but what matters is that all the other shows currently on are good to begin with... And to me, a majority of them actually are as of late.

[up][up][up] I don't know how you could find Aku adorable, but to each his own.

Is it surreal that the best action series on Cartoon Network came from Genndy Tartakovsky, who was well-known for creating a wacky, Ren And Stimpy-inspired comedy?

At least shows like Ben 10 can air again. The same can't be said for Megas XLR, Sym Bionic Titan, or Beware The Batman. They legally cannot air ever again, cannot have DVD releases, and since the current management is the one that killed the latter two, the situation is not likely to improve.

As for Sonic Boom, notice how it airs on weekends at 6:00 AM. Notice how it lost one of its air times. Notice how the show received next to no promotion. It's only a matter of time....

Also, I fail to see how things are better when all the newest shows I've seen run on either a Dudebro formula (Adventure Time, Regular Show), or a formula of "lol i so random." (Teen Titans Go, Uncle Grandpa) I fail to see how things are better when the 15th anniversary special for The Powerpuff Girls feels incredibly unlike the original show even at its worst. I fail to see how things are better when Toonami went down from six hours to three. Remember the last time Toonami got cut in half? It got cancelled shortly afterwards.

Are you sure it's not just because they're still working on better schedule slots for everything?

[up][up] Is there some sort of legal trouble that those shows are enveloped in? Because I'm sure they could air again if there was a demand, and even then, it's legal issues. You can't do much about those.

Also, The Powerpuff Girls was a comedy. So I fail to see how that deals with action cartoons being screwed over.

And, hey, it's not like Cartoon Network ever screwed over any of its comedies (COUGHSheep In The Big CityCOUGHTime SquadCOUGHWhatever Happened To Robot JonesCOUGHChowderCOUGHThe Marvelous Misadventures Of FlapjackCOUGH)...

Chowder and Flapjack got much better treatment than the former three shows, at least from what I remember when those shows were still airing.

Also, you forgot Secret Mountain Fort Awesome *sidesteps chair thrown* and The Problem Solv-*SHOT*

[up] True, inasmuch as they still had good timeslots for the rest of their run.

The point remains, though, they were screwed over.

[up][up] Those shows were dogshit, anyway, IMHO - those are the kind of shows CN needs to not be picking up right now. Efforts on Steven Universe's level, if only to successfully replace Adventure Time and Regular Show (since those shows are getting old and need to end ASAP), would suffice right now. But I bet I'm asking too damn much.

If you're gonna imply some conspiracy theory is going on within the network, you could at least get your facts right.

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."

I'm liking Pillywags Mansion but something seems off. Like the protagonist is trapping the people in the mansion for some twisted pleasure. Hope I get to find out more about this villain...?

All-New CN Pilots! And some of them are already on You Tube!

Twelve Forever created by Julia Vickerman.

Most definitely my favorite of the two that I'm gonna post now. The main character (I think her name's Reggie, can Reggie be a girl's name?) is very Scott Pilgrim-y in terms of appearance. Stay tuned for Jammers.

Jammers created by Lizz Hickey

It's not that I hate it or anything, and I'm all for surreal humor, but this seems a little...much.

It makes Uncle Grandpa look tame and mild by comparison.

EDIT: One YouTuber even commented that "[He/She] can feel [his/her] brain cells committing mass suicide."

I'm glad CN is continuing its slew of show ideas created by women.

Twelve Forever seems a bit too on-the-nose with the gimmicks CN has been doing lately: 80's elements because the 80's existed, Scott Pilgrim designs, etc. Oddly, her dialogue is very 90's! :O I really love the detail in the backgrounds though.

[up] [up]Perhaps.

But I'd rather prefer that over Jammers.

Jammers is a wee bit too nonsensical for my taste.

Come to think of it, why is it even called Jammers in the first place?
