Change it back. The new pic is borderline JAFAAC since Violet looks more gloomy/emo than shy in that pic. And I think the Violet image in the Peek A Bang collage is fine, so I don't see any reason to change it.

Suggestion,move current image to Western Animation,,and the other to the Anime & Manga sub page,and the leave the main page imageless,we've done this before.

Putting the respective images on the sub pages would be fine. Something less JAFAAC for western animation would be better but that's not a big deal.

Maybe switch the Violet pic with the one in Peek A Bangs? Her pose looks more illustrative for this trope.
Um... is MSDOS girl anime? I mean, it's anime style but as far as I know the OS-Tans aren't an anime.
Since it's not really anything, I think leaving her on the main page and moving Violet to Western Animation makes the most sense. Especially since MSDOS is a much better illustration.

I am inclined to agree with moving the old image to the Anime & Manga subpage, given the artstyle.

But... it's not from an Anime. It's Animesque, but if we lumped everything that looked like Anime under anime... well, Animesque wouldn't exist.
Incidentally, the first image in the Anime subpage is an excellent image, I think

For medium specific subpages I would say it does matter unless we really can not find better. Fan art of an A&M series is one thing but this isn't one at all.

- Move Current to Western Animation
- Move the old image to Web Original (as that's what OS-tan is under)
- Put 17.1 on Anime/Manga
- Put 19 on the main page (since it's not from an actual anime or manga that we know of)

I'm not 100% keen on 17.1...to be honest, I'd prefer 19 on the anime/manga subpage. However, I'm definitely not down with having a pic on the main page that duplicates one of the media subpages.

Back in April, Eddie changed the old pic
◊ on Shrinking Violet, which was decided on here
, to the current of Violet from The Incredibles, without even removing the IP tag. While Violet is a good example, and the punny nature is clever, I think the old pic is a better overall illustration of this trope. My vote is to swap the pics (the page wasn't tagged as an admin keep), and possibly change the pic of Violet in the collage on Peek A Bangs to this one. Thoughts?
