Good god no, just... just make it stop.
Why not use less mainstream comics that haven't been animated, filmed, screen played, turned into Broadway musicals, and reinterpreted as gritty graphic novels 3-4 times?
Why not a Sin City miniseries? Or a Judge Dredd miniseries?
X Men just got back on its feet with Days of Future Past, and now we want a TV Show?
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Does Fox have the rights to either of those options?
Come to think of it, do they really have X-Men TV rights? I thought those belonged to Marvel still.
I think Fox owns Live Action rights but Marvel owns the Animation rights to X-Men.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureMAKE IT STOP
At least if they maybe tied the show into the filmverse, sure, but what are the odds of that?
The only boon I see is that X-Men is so very diverse, they have a number of teams and factions to draw upon without being overly redundant like "Justice League Europe", "Titans East", or however many iterations there are of the Avengers.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I think the Comics forum has mentioned that the author in question is no exactly a 100% reliable source, so...wait and drink tea?
"You can reply to this Message!"The latest rumor is it's gonna be an adaptation of Peter David's X-Factor.
I actually think the X-franchise makes far better sense for a spin-off TV series than Agents of SHIELD does.
Best we can hope for is that it focuses on the X-men D-listers.
Forge. Cannonball. Marrow.
Wolverine will have to be there, of course, because he's on every team in the Marvel universe.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! What about Daken?
Or... X-23?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!X-23 is Wolverine's clone. I reckon she can fill the Wolverine quota. Daken can come along as well. Double Wolverine-whammy.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Looks like we may get the Summer Glau role we've been waiting for. If we get X I'd watch it.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursI'm cautiously optimistic about this because we don't know who's going to be in this series or what this series is all about, but I hope that they used the lesser known characters in the X-Men movie universe like X-Factor in this show. Or maybe, this would be an opportunity to better develop the X-Men characters that didn't play major roles in the films like Kitty Pryde, Colossus, Nightcrawler and Gambit.
I love animation, TV, movies, YOU NAME IT!I support this. The X-Men lend themselves better to a serial format with a large, rotating cast than a blockbuster film.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Don't worry, it won't even last a season. It's a science fiction series on Fox, after all.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisIf they actually cast Summer Glau as X-23 it'd be in a nosedive from episode 1.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Actually we don't know what channel it would air on. All we know is that it is from 20th Century Fox they produce shows for any network that wants to pick it up.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI think a New Mutants spin off from the X-Men movies would be great actually.
Prior to changing writers, being retitled New X-Men, and butchering 90% of the cast for no good reason, a recent run of New Mutants was the kind of series that would make for a great TV drama. It was less focused on superheroes fighting supervillains and more focused on the school itself, being largely a teen drama/comedy with superpowers.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.That was already called "New X-Men." "New Mutants" appeared as the name of the main team, with the Helions as their rivals. Then House of M happened, and Kyle and Yost took over and killed everyone.
Who do we cast for Wolverine / Daken / X-23?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!. . . I liked the Kyle/Yost New X-Men run. Yeah, they killed a shitload of characters off the bat, but after that first arc or so, the series, while still dark, did have a lot more balance.
An X-Factor TV series could be cool, given PAD practically wrote it as a TV series already. There's a lot of awesome characters I'd love to see get some use. Maybe we could get Karma. But probably not.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.'24's' Many Coto and Evan Katz are producing it and 'Star Trek 3's' original writers Patrick Mc Kay and JD Payne writing for the show.
It might not happen because Marvel still has to sign off on the show, Fox said to TV Insider that they had a good meeting with Marvel so they are optimistic about their chances.
It wouldn't be on TV until 2016 or 2017.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureLegion, which will focus on David Haller and air on FX, and Hellfire, a show about an agent trying to bring down the Hellfire Club, which will air on Fox.
