Remember that episode of American Dad! where Stan lets out a turd in the pool and everyone sees it, so he runs away across the world in an attempt to escape his memetic infamy, only for literally everyone to recognize and laugh at him?
I hope this is the result of Pai's private contact info being leaked. That would be amusing to see, tempting as the traditional angry mob with torches and pitchforks on his lawn every day would be (because he'd probably use that to play the victim card, and his followers are just livestock yes-men).

If people want to revolt, do it when the law is repealed and we find out what the big companies are going to do with that new freedom. Until then, it seems like much ado about nothing. And it is just being pessimistic to expect TV Tropes/Tumblr/whatever to be shutdown without notice.
Life is unfair...Comcast says it supports Congress doing something about Net Neutrality.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."As much as I hope they're not, I have a bad feeling they're lying through their teeth.
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.I'm mixed about Pai's doxxing. I don't actually want his death for this crime (no matter how much I fantasize about writing his name in a little black notebook, at least he's not an attempted murderer like the AHCA-voting congressmen), and he doesn't deserve to live in fear for his family's lives either (and more importantly they don't deserve to live in fear either)... but I think living in fear for his own life (and only his) after making so many enemies would be a fitting punishment.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Or just die of old age. Makes more sense.
MIAIsn't the guy like, 40?
By the time he dies of old age, all this will have been forgotten... unless he dies of old age in prison.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Shit, they just voted to repeal net neutrality
Pantheon server for all who click here. Freaking lost $410 and I am hunting down for a nuke to reign down.Honestly, the best thing for his family to do in our favor is to divorce him completely. If I see his kids, I'll tell them "Get a new dad".

Why would they do that? Presumably they care about him. Furthermore why are we even talking about his private life?
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnBecause what he did affects ours?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."And how does his private life being effected possibly help us? I just think we should focus on the thing that actually matters, the repeal.
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnI guess it's just that we want him to suffer for his attack on us, to pile as suffering on this single man the cumulated weight of the combined mild annoyance of millions.
We want him punished, it's a human instinct.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, all this fixation on Pai's personal life (even if he is a servile, worthless toadie) is getting a little creepy.

I don't really care for his personal life and since it feels weird, yeah.
MIAHey, then who is gonna be The Big Bad Hate Sink?

Watch me destroying my countryWe can properly despise whatshisname without weirdly focusing over his personal life.
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnWell, all we can reasonably hope for is that his family doesn't approve of his actions, and that's about it. We wouldn't want any Overlord Jrs, now, would we?
He's just the chairman appointed to lead Trump's deregulation, that's it. He's not an overlord and his family has zero significance.
"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnRevenge... the most worthless of causes.
Where there's life, there's hope.Honestly I care nothing for Pai himself or his family. He campaigned for it to be repealed, sure, but the focus of the movement was never on an individual.
It's a campaign against what the bill will do and its terms. It's not a campaign to stick it to somebody.
But it seems like some people think that they need to focus their anger onto somebody rather than something.
It's that typical Reddit mentality that put me off a lot of subreddits - almost all of them, TBH. Redditors are well-versed in pop culture, so much that they always put it as "hero fighting villain", with themselves fighting whoever they what to project their issues on. They happily advocate acts that would make them the villain, like doxxing or killing the guy's family. Anyone who tries to reason with them is screwed. And unfortunately this mentality has spread to a good amount of the internet.

He goes out of his way to basically mock people and treat it like a joke, which serves as a good way to get people to hate someone.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yeah I think people are way too hostile against Pai. As said before this doesn't really spell doom for the internet, and it's pretty scary that people are giving him death threats or doxxing him over this.
Just another day in the life of Jimmy NutrinThat is why I actually think that his job is to direct all the hate to himself, if he is not pure Stupid Evil , then the plan is just ruin his own career by taking most of the hate to his company.

Watch me destroying my country
Remember what Mr. Rogers said.
This is my first time posting in this thread, and I'm glad that the users here are showing SOME optimism, unlike the commenters on Reddit.
