I really doubt anything with Akuma should be taken too seriously. It's like having Ezio, Link, Spawn or anyone from Star Wars in Soul Calibur.

Tekken X Street Fighter is confirmed to be Scrapped, Ono stated this on the stream for the tournament.

Capcom has made a deal with Namco Bandai that they can use Street fighter charcters and re-envision them as Tekken characters, and with this deal, it's confirmed that Tekken and Street Fighter are a part of The 'Verse.

Polar Phantom: It's like having Ezio, Link, Spawn or anyone from Star Wars in Soulcalibur.

None of these characters had direct relations in their guest appearances, all of them were there for superficial and simple reasons, here we are seeing Akuma interact directly with a Tekken character with the clarification they've known each other, said character being a Mishima handling him a quest and Akuma feeling he should act; a greater participation than a normal guest character should have.

[up][up],[up]And yet the very next comment says that's a shitty lie and that he said no such thing on the stream. Strange that none of the gaming websites with actual translators like Gematsu say "Oh and the crossover game got canned" in their articles, huh.

I stand by my point. Him chatting with Kazumi is just fanservice, and I shall continue saying this till either the game or the devs say "This is actually important to the lore".

Akuma is Kauzya Father!

if that were the case, i'd have to seriously doubt Kazumi's character judgment skills. tongue

Still, who could resist the dreamy chest scar?

I know I wouldn't mind Jun Kazama's company.

Does anyone know if this is coming out for the Xbox One?

[up] You see, the problem is "not minding" Jun's company, it's "not minding" Kazuya's company when you/Jun are 100% aware he and Devil are the same guy, and has a proven track record of kicking puppies. [lol]

(This is of course assuming Kazuya's and Jun's relationship was consensual, which is proven by how much she loved Jin.)

I'd happily face Kazuya for a chance at Jun, Spikes or no spikes.

Seriously, her fight at the end of TT 2 was crazy. Dat ink skin tho....

In some ways I want to drill her...not that way, because she is a Horrible Judge of Character. Kazuya, yeah okay maybe. But telling her son to find Heihachi? Really? That's The Motion Picture levels of...crazy, yeah, let's go with crazy. Maybe she's always been like her Tag 2 portrayal and is not quite all there.

Both Heihachi and Kazuya have always been corrupt executives as the zaibatsu heads, the difference is Heihachi has a "villain with good publicity" coverup, while Kazuya's evil is blatant.

The only excuse Jun has for that "go find your grandpa" and all, is that she is not aware that Heihachi's a bastard. Heh heh heh.

wild mass guess The old man probably covered that up too. wild mass guess

edit: I just realized that Jun should've been suspicious of Kazuya's disappearance. But I think she went into hiding with her baby, so that may have excused it.

Forgive me for asking this again, but why do we claim Jun wasn't that nice in Tekken The Motion Picture again?

She's considerably more Not Good With People and confrontational, aside from Kazuya, that what we were led to believe. Though most if not all the cast were antagonistic to a degree, and it may make her seem boring if she was easy going and relaxed, but hey I liked boring Jun, like her current persona as well but it's a bit like what happened with Leon for example in that first he was a good cop, then a Deadpan Snarker, then The Stoic, they were trying to get a feel for his character. Does it work for Jun? I'd suggest it's open to debate, get Unknown away from her and then maybe we'll get the Jun we used to know more...no the live film suggested she was kind of brutal as well.

[up] How exactly were Jun's conversations with Lei proof of Not Good with People?

Basically she didn't like his goofy attitude and told him numerous times to stay out of her way, even insulting his fighting skills. Rather standoffish.

She was also a WWF agent investigating illegal animal trafficking on the island of a crazy business tycoon she saw catch and break a tomahawk with his teeth, so it's not like she was being standoffish with the flirty ditz for no reason.

True, and Lei was kind of stupid. And that I think was part of the problem with the film, the characters seemed a little out of character, such as their characterization was at the time. Look at the Street Fighter film and...no contest. A few were off but that seemed to be a better portrayal, or how fans saw them. I don't think fans saw Jun as a grump, or Michelle as that angry and vengeful...not without reason of course but the games, especially the later ones, either went with the film a little or strayed away.
