Oh yeah, that's the one.
Think we'll see her once Tekken 7 comes overse—?
EEK!
(Dodges a poison dart.)
I-I'll just be quiet.
We'll see Lucky Chloe
-dodges brick-
Excuse me for a second
-sounds of some one having their spine ripped out and then shoved back up their rectum-
-comes back with hands dripping in blood-
As I was saying, We'll see chloe again before we get another Tekken x Street fighter isn't dead tease.
I might not like the aesthetic, but its not OMG BURN IT FIRE It does not appeal to me. I mean she could be crazy good for All I know.

Why do people hate Lucky Chloe anyway?
(dodges an axe.)
Because she Tastes Like Diabetes or something?
Also, salty Eddy/Christie fans.
She's basically an exaggerated representative of weeaboos Occidental Otaku. People get triggered by the stereotype.
Fortunately, she's annoying, but low tier. (Though in most tier lists for this game, B is the lowest, so this is a pretty balanced game. Still, this makes Lucky Chloe low tier.)
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Basically it boils down to of all the characters who could return in the game why make her up? Of all the ones that fans had made up, the ones Harada and Namco had been able to come up with, she looks like a random mish mash made up in Tag 2. If you remember Soul Calibur faced the same backlash in that instead of fan faves we get...what the hell is that?
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursShe looks like a representation of 'everything that's supposedly wrong with today's anime' would answer that.
I'll admit I wasn't fond of her at first either but she's honestly not too bad. Wish I coulda played her when I had the chance back when I was near the Dave & Busters in Times Square. Still think her outfit sucks, seems like 3 ideas awkwardly mixed into one. Good thing customization is a thing.

Because she's so blatantly intended to be moe, which a lot of westerners have tired of.
I mean, she's not for me, so I don't begrudge her existence.

What if they split the difference and we get more Lucky Chloe and a Tekken X Street Fighter isn't dead tease at the same time, with a trailer of Lucky Chloe being beaten to death by Akuma as a counterpart of the Street Fighter X Tekken trailer where Kazuya beat Dan Hibiki to death?
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierI don't know if anyone qualifies as enough of a Joke Character in Tekken to be beaten in such a way.
And I think the Japanese audience like Chloe. Unless I got my wires crossed or something.
Oh yeah, that PGW announcement. Besides the VR bit, talk about a nothing announcement. Was anyone at all surprised to hear that it was coming to consoles?
No release date, no new characters, no update tease, nothing. Just a bit of new CG, a nebulous VR support announcement, and that's it.
Although, I don't think there's an official confirmation for the Xbox One version yet. The post you linked references another news post that says all the information was revealed at Paris Games Week, but Harada only mentioned the PS 4 version there. The rest is just extrapolation, albeit to form a very likely conclusion. Sony's favorite word these days is "exclusive", and all they mentioned in relation to Tekken was some exclusive content, which could or could not be the VR support they mentioned later. Regardless, the fact that they didn't claim it as an exclusive release definitely leaves the door wide open for other platforms.

this place needs me hereThere are a couple of people that can be considered as joke characters in Tekken that Akuma can beat up for TxSF: Tiger, Alex, Ganryu, Kuma. Maybe even P-Jack.
Yoshi is also a joke, but he's probably gonna be playable in TxSF.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!A new update, Tekken 7: Fated Retribution has been announced, which will form the basis of the console version, and feature an all new character nobody will ever guess.
Because it's Akuma
EDIT: Damn video thumbnail!

A corpse should be left well enough alone...Tekken X Street Fighter?
Finally.
They didn't modify much for Gouki. Even animation wise he's practically straight out of sf4.
I don't even...
Akuma actually tied to the storyline?
Akuma owing debts to someone?
After years of Mishimas feud, it falls to a Street Fighter character to clean the house?
What is going on?
At any case that's probably Harada's way of showing Tekken X Street Fighter is not dead.
The Devil gene Is actually a Satsui No Hadou that's been genetically modified to be a bloodline instead of a power up.
Watch SymphogearThe worst part of that wmg is that they can actually make it canon.
RIP Tekken storyline. It looked like you were getting back on track with Tag 2
And then the train got SGS'd off a cliff.
Nope. It's dead. They're making Street Fighter characters canon to the actual Tekk En storyline and are drip feeding then into Tekken 7 instead.

Just noticed the Heihachi X Kazumi carving on the temple’s wooden floor; I’m not buying the fact that Heihashi honestly loved someone, it just seems off for someone who has screwed pretty much all of his family members because they didn’t first adhere to his twisted ideals, or in Jin’s case dared to have the Devil Gene.
In regards to what Goukenimaru said , I've said this a few times here in TV Tropes, and I might as well say it again, I believe Heihachi's the way he his due to his upbringing, in that, how he treated Kazuya is how Jinpachi treated Heihachi when he was growing up. We only saw Jinpachi as an old man, so as he got older, he got nicer. Seeing that Jinpachi became nicer all of a sudden to his son, and if assuming Jinpachi was the guy Kazumi was talking about in regards to the Devil Gene, hearing that he killed Kazumi, Heihachi imprisoned Jinpachi underneath Hon-maru, wherein, for Kazuya, he threw him off the cliff for conflicting reasons:
1. Seeing if he's worthy to inherit the Mishima Zaibatsu.
2. Seeing if he really does have the Devil Gene in him.
3. Mercy Kill on Kazuya due to him having the Devil Gene.
4. All of the above.
Your theory loses weight when you have Wang Jinrei who is a long-time friend of Jinpachi never questioning his friend’s behavior, so him becoming nicer as an old man might not apply so is he being mean to Heihachi decades before.
Harada stated that he has already planned the story since Tekken 2, this is during the event where Akuma was unveiled. Thus, in the case of Akuma being here, this is probably just an added bonus, rather than him joining in the center stage of the story.
Okay, maybe not as bad as how Heihachi treated Kazuya, but I'm pretty sure Jinpachi drilled To Be a Master into Heihachi's head that Heihachi took it to heart, wherein Kazuya wouldn't, and Jinpachi encouraged it.
Lucky Chloe.
