Episode 6 is out:
The Celestial Maiden Squad become idols. Because why not?
Good to know that heavens treat the whole thing about fragments seriously.
Only in anime can you dress up in a elaborate outfit and not notice what it is until you are done.
And of course their boss makes them actually do it.
No wonder Momoko is upset when people who gave her the mission in the first place bail out on it.
I sure hope the Oni aren't going to take advantage of the situation... they are probably not smart enough to accomplish anything.
Onihime wants to be an idol too! Chuu!
But what, they didn't plan on doing it until you made them... oh it was for the money. Good thing that they didn't pretend there was some lesson there.
And what was he planning to accomplish with just two real henchmen anyway?
This might be my favorite of the transformations.
In the end Momoko become an idol as well... kinda.

Honestly, soothing warlike tribes is probably a better use of the Celestial Maiden Squad anyway, considering how helpful they are.
So....I didn't those Henchmen flying off with Genki?
Did they just die or something?
One Strip! One Strip! If there was any sign that the series isn't even remotely going to portray the era its set in accurately (as if the swimsuits two episodes ago weren't enough), this was it. Idols! Concerts! HEIAN-ERA WOTA!
Honestly, not taking itself remotely seriously improves things. At least it wasn't predictable.
If this series tried to take itself seriously it would fall flat on it's face. It's better that way.
Probably. It doesn't matter either way since there's always more of them.
There is not enough Onihime recently.
there is never enough Onihime
Episode 7: In which Onihime is a tsundere.
Onihime acts like a ignored girlfriend. "I'll buy you as many knives as you want, just pay attention to me!"
Yeah, I wonder where Momoko came from too.
Youki is a big jerk again.
I like how they search right next to Oni and completely ignore them.
And then Momoko decides to just deck Youki in the shonzel.
"Don't take it the wrong way. I just picked it up and now throwing it away! It's not like a like you or anything!" Onihime tsundere level just keeps rising.
Jakiou is pretty cool dad "Follow you beliefs! That's the way of man!"
And sorry you won't convince me to take Seimei seriously as villain. That guy is too much a dork.
So yeah, it seems the anime pretty much wants us to ship Momoko/Onihime. I'm okay with that.

Minimal Tennyo-tai, lots of Onihime. Best episode
Also some interesting stuff:
- Explicitly bringing up Momoko's past. At a guess, I'd say she's from the moon
- Has Onihime's mom come up before?
- Seimei wants the world to belong to humans. Which is kind of interesting since he appears to be working for an alien

Seimei seemed a little guilty at leaving Momo high and dry.
And Youki looks like he'll start getting a little Treacherous soon. Ironically enough, he was rather smug but seemed one hundred percent loyal up until this most recent point.
Though his plan was going to fail anyway, but still.
One Strip! One Strip! We get hint at what Seimei is up to a least. And I would bet Momo and Onihime will have to team up to fight it
Seimei may have felt guilt but it certainly wasn't enough.
Can Youki be a Token Evil Teammate if he work for the kinda bad guys.
Speaking of the Bad Guys, Oni King is way to good natured for someone who looks like the devil.
I wonder whats going to be the catalyst that causes Momoko and Onihime to work together. My guess is whatever Kaguya is working on.
......
This. Fucking. Show.
I've long since accepted the fact that I should probably be punched in the face for watching it, but this episode......
Now we're all sons of bitches.
One Strip! One Strip!Well, that happened. I'm going to try to forget it now
As someone who hasn't watched the show but finds the commentary after each episode amusing enough, what happened? :p
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntThis is the greatest adaptation of a folk tale to ever be created.
I lack the words to describe how silly this all is.
I'll just be here laughing loudly.
Oh just your usual hot springs episode.

Poor Sumiragi-sama, don't worry your Hot for your age.
Well filler it maybe I can't help but like these episodes where the Oni and Maidens have a fun day together.
I did like seeing them have fun together.
It was the second half when they got out of the Onsen that could have been left out.
It's the kind of thing where everyone involves deserves to be stabbed in the eyeball.
That... unfortunately includes people who watched it, cause we help make it happen by watching it.
It's a shame. I love my eyeball. It's done me nothing but good.
Edit: I probably should have guessed it would be a Fanservice ep when Kijigami turned human again (while Inugami and Sarugami still show no signs of being able to do the same).
Edit the second: Also, never let Kijigami and Enki near each other when there alcohol nearby. It apparently gets ugly.
I would have preferred a whole episode of naked wrestling with them to what we got truthfully.

One Strip! One Strip!I love the stupid fun of this show. seriously people, why so serious over a silly show?
I just guess every episode is a fanservice episode. It's worked well so far!

Great now I ship Enki and Kijigami in a passive aggressive way.
x5 I wonder if it's an Actor Allusion to their voice actors. Asami Imai & Chiaki Takahashi co-hosted one of the Idolmaster Radio shows for a while

And yet, they bitch at her for being useless.
Maybe the rest of them should look in a fucking mirror and think about what they bring to the party.
One Strip! One Strip!
