You should be able to see both those videos if you go to download the game from the official site.note

Did you intend to link the same image twice?
And I've seen worse. -shrug-
No. those two seperate images capture exactly what my opinion and expression was on just the opening image. Remember, this com i'm on plays videos at a snail's pace.
Still, I know who this game is marketed towards...
I'm still shocked not to find any R34 of this yet.
Edit: Oh I see what you mean with the images.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIt's marketed towards gamers that are fans of anime (and cute girls, apparently). They're doing a cross-promotion with Milky Holmes, after all.
If you mean age range, I assume it's skewed towards teens and older gamers.
Even relatively tame Japanese productions allude to the tentacle thing, simply because it makes for a quick joke and easy fanservice potential.

Yeah, i've been known the age range since this was first announced (Or shown on ads on here). But, in all honesty, what girl will actualy enjoy what this game promotes? especially going off by the trailers?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceLesbians?
Everything is Possible. But some things are more Probable than others. JEBAGEDDON 2016The same kind that played games like Scarlet Blade (to name one) without batting an eye? If they're anything like Phantasy Star Online 2 players, they'd also be playing for the Virtual Paper Doll factor that'll inevitably be part of the game too (I seriously doubt this game won't add costumes in). And there are handsome males among the cast, you know (dat Susanoo). Just because the ads are ridiculously skewed towards straight men doesn't mean that A) that's the only thing the game has going for it and B) that other kinds of gamers aren't going to try and enjoy the game.note

Yeah, I guess. But it's still pretty commonplace for these MM Os to be the breeding ground for "virtual men disguised as girls" types, especially the ones where the ad claims "Men only: Step in and your friends will blah blah blah very often". A girl on said sites is bound to be the subject of many males' disturbing questions. I'd hate for a good thing to get wasted because some men think with their cocks.
Apparently this is false. Studies show that sexual advertising isn't very effective at getting people to purchase things, and if anything distracts the target audience from paying attention to what the ad is actually for. IE: they're too busy staring at boobs to realize that there's supposed to be a game in there.
Sexy games and movies are also not noticeably more popular than others.
Can someone please tell Japan so we can finally stop having about 50% of current internet arguments?
That would be impossible because that's their birthright.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI wouldn't be surprised if the Japanese have already heard nearly everything about how openly sexual their products are compared to other countries by now, as well as how ineffective it generally is to promote things like that in said other countries, so I doubt telling them would do anything.
Yes this is true. However, while I'm aware that ads based around sexiness don't do well in the long run, they haven't exactly died down in use after all this timenote , so people are apparently still buying into it despite its ineffectiveness.note Personally, I thought Evony's debacle would have caused more of a decline in these types of ads than it actually did, but apparently I thought wrong.

Apparently, online, it's a pretty common practice that does sometimes work. Why else would I create this thread?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceOne dude making a thread about the sexy anime girls he saw in a side ad does not equal a successful, sustainable MMO, which this game probably won't be.
I'll see if I can find out anything about their player numbers before I say too much more, though.
"Just because someone's selling it doesn't mean anyone's buying it" should be an adage if it isn't already.
First off, I did not make a thread just for that, I made a thread for the fact that because it shows up everywhere, it was about time someone made a thread for it, and I was the only one at the time to do so.
Secondly, of course a game can't be good just based off the ad, you have to play to see. I of course already know these games are nothing more but looks than quality, but it's still something to talk about.

Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceJust want to add my two cents in saying that the game wasn't that bad for the first few hours. Then I noticed I was really under-leveled. Apparently the English version has a reduced amount of experience given by defeated enemies and cleared quests. Also some items were removed from the English version, but when the players got upset they added some back in, but more balanced.
Some game mechanics are just weird. Like when using a bow, I sometimes have to be within range of an enemies attack just for mine to connect properly. Or my bow may just be crap. Another problem is the low attack speed with spears. I can understand attacking slowly with axes, hammers, and nodachi/claymore class weapons, but it just seems weird to be that slow with a spear. Or maybe I am just playing too much Fate/Unlimited Codes on the side. There is also a crap dodge mechanic and others have said the Healer class is broken in a bad way, like in a "Why bother?", way.
I am going to stay with it though. I want to see this through to the end.
Glad you like it. Mabey it's just me, but I kind of imagine that this will get better over time due to all the promotion it will get or is showing, no doubt.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceGoddamn! The recent overload of OG ads on this site is overwhelmingly uncomfortable.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceThat actually looks pretty cool, but now I'm sure my laptop won't be able to handle the thing. Just when I wanted a fanservicey MMO...
"And you must be Jonathan Joestar!" - SueMabey try and upgrade your processor to match the game's speed?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice
And there are video games with a similar audience in mind.
That doesn't make them good or warrant their existence.
