Is this child supposed to be hacking something, or playing with Kinect and Oculus Rift while a movie plays on a portable DVD player?

Dang, this one never got opened...I'm gonna hold off on clocking it for that. Overall, I think it's a little better than JAFAAC so I'm going to vote a weak keep.

It's not pull-worthy. Anyone got a better suggestion?

I would suggest Tony Stark from Iron Man 2, but it would require multiple pics and captions to demonstrate it.

Also: most of the examples on that page are Zero Context Examples, and not even proper examples to the trope at that.

Hey, it's Cowboy BeBop at His Computer! For starters, there's a computer, and a girl doing something weird and playful. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested here as well.

Bump with a suggestion for Robin from Young Justice? [1]

My rationale for the choice is that only a Playful Hacker would've devised such a Viewer-Friendly Interface.

[up] That's not bad, as long as you can still read the "security override" part at wiki size.

Personally, I feel the locks make the image fairly clear. Anyway, quick size edits:

Fairly hard to read on my screen.

Cropped as closely as I can. Think it should be just about clear enough.

Not sure it illustrates the playful part of the hacker very well, though, and the first impression of messing with security systems isn't a playful one.

To put your own face in a program? Seems a bit eccentric, right?

More like narcissistic to me.

Eccentric isn't the same as playful, which in this case means someone who's not malicious.

OK. I read the description. So, it means friendly playful, not malicious playful. In that case, Ed's the best we're going to get.

Always read the description, and never rely on the trope name, even if you think you know what the trope is. Especially if you think you know what the trope is.

Is there a weakness that a caption could address? Like mentioning what she's doing on the computer.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
