I remember the Wachowskis said that the original GITS movies are the main inspiration for it. The SAC team, IIRC, reciprocated it in 2nd Gig.

[up] Yeah I pretty much knew about that. By the time I watched the first GITS movie I could see how the Matrix was inspired by it.

Hmm, I was getting those matrix vibes too to be honest. It's a good series, so I'm not complaining... I think I'll refrain from further speculation until we actually start, though - Mainly so I don't look like a total tit.

True. Can't wait to see if I can get into a firefight with an actual LEO unit as a homage to the GITS series.

  • Name: Misha Hendrick

  • Age: 16

  • Appearance: A brunette, Misha at first looks rather like a withdrawn, not very outgoing girl. Her blue eyes make her look like someone who might well be too innocent to be involved in anything criminal. However, under all the classical dresses and outfits, she's a very athletic young woman. When she's actually ready to do something, rather than wear a dress, she wears some sort of blue and black "Mechano-Suit", which includes a helmet.

  • Personality: Misha is best described as someone who wears two faces. She acts like a girly girl and withdrawn resigned young woman when she's in front of daddy or any cameras, purely because that is what they all expect. She acts pure and virginal in public with Xander, and acts like holding his hand is a big deal. When they're away from cameras, turns out Misha is a vastly more assertive and thinking individual who, while still very concerned for her boyfriend, is a vital part of his operations. She knows all about his "Mektavis" self, before he knew that she knew about it. She fully supports his ideals, and in fact encourages him to go further and experiment with his bio-tech. She's actually a Teen Genius herself, but has had to not show it very often.

  • Background: The daughter of Justinian Hendrick, one of the other upperclass individuals in Echo City, Misha found Xander during a meeting between their fathers to discuss "plans", and fell in love with him after they read a book by Nietzsche together.

  • Skills: Misha, despite appearances, is an extremely capable combatant and manipulator. She is also very good with mechanical things, such as her armors.

  • Cybernetic Enhancements:
    • Electro-Cell: She has amplified herself with nanomachines that let her make use of more bioelectricity than is normal, and shoot it as electric blasts.
    • Needle Burrower: Her weapon of choice, a long needle weapon folded up that emerges from her arm, as some sort of Blade Below the Shoulder. It resembles a needle, and is an Absurdly Sharp Blade made for puncturing. "My mom always told me a proper lady sews..."
    • Enhanced Strength and Durability: Her armors aside, she has augments that increase her strength and durability.
    • Steel-Bearer Suit: She has two suits of armor she can wear. Her most common is a simple bodysuit that augments her strength and defenses and gives her several projectile weapons. The bigger suit is the Steel-Bearer II, and while she rarely uses it, it is more of a Mighty Glacier with many weapons, but with poor speed.

You can play as many characters as you wish as long as you feel it wont hinder how much you write or play.

I probably will stick to one since I got no idea for another character. Well except for a cyber ninja.

I know we discussed this JR, but maybe you ought to put in the first post that anyone is free to play at least two characters (or more, up to the R Per) if they can devote their time to them.
