Suggestion (runoff crowner 6/12/14): Bifauxnen

Eddie pulled the old pic on Bifauxnen...just gonna sigh, shake my head, and move on. I think we can do something with these: 1 (multiple possibilities), 2 (possibly panels 5 and 6). Thoughts?

Aww why? I really liked that image... but if you don't wanna talk about it, neither do I.

So, what about a real life example? Esther Quek is totally a Bifauxnen.◊ Do a google image search and take your pick.

He only pulled it because it read right-to-left. Flip it and it reads left-to-right. Are there any objections beyond that, then?

Its a lot of words, but I'm kinda at a loss as to why that was pulled, aside from Eddie's usual "Grr I hate animu". I'm also a bit opposed to Real Life images on pages, simply because I think it's better to link to a work whenever possible. Still, its better than nothing.

She has a popular instagram, but I dunno if that would count. I learned about her a couple days ago.

The flipped version of the original is good, as is the woman. I guess it comes down to how much reading you prefer doing.

Despite all the text I think the flipped original is best because it shows a woman with the charm, elegance and style of a man.

The sinfest character could work but she's kind of crude and acting like a lesbian. Just a woman in a suit isn't good enough, especially when it's hard to tell she's a woman.

So we need a girl dressed as a a guy but ends up looking like elegant hot dreamy 'Bishonen' guy AND need to make it obvious that it is a girl without text?

The only idea that comes to mind would be a side by side image of Sailor Uranus in her normal suit and tux next to her transformed self. You would think such a thing would be easy to find but I am having no luck

Perhaps this image◊ of Gakuran from Majisuka Gakuen, with her fan club in the background?

That would be YMMV on if you see the trope or not in that, if you see her as a girl there is would be more Even the Girls Want Her. As well as that looks more I dont know butch / Japanese Delinquents than most examples of this trope most of which give Will Smith a run for his money in making suits look good.

Speaking of suits... If we want to go with the suave and debonair look, what about coupling that and using one of the Real Life examples listed in the example list?

Was showing friend who doesn't know all that many celebs pictures to see what might work. Tilda Swinton is apparently David Bowie, now, and so is Dianna Agron, who is also Andrej Pejic, and so is Cara Delevingne. So, Tilda Swinton, Cara Delevingne, or Dianna Agron.
