Does Not Illustrate: Ho Yay.Anime

There are two main problems with the pic on Ho Yay.Anime. The first is the borderline NSFW-ness. The second, and probably the most pressing, is that this is much more illustrative of Homoerotic Subtext than Ho Yay.

EDIT: Oh, and it's also being used on HoYay.Get Backers.

Doesn't look like Ho Yay to me. Looks like boyfriends. Ho Yay is reading into it. Like the main page image is Kirk and Spock holding hands, though it's clearly meant to be platonic. I do not see platonic in the current at all. Pull.

I was going to suggest L washing Light's feet from Death Note, but I see that's already being used on HoYay.Death Note

Erm, I would suggest one of the myriad scenes/pieces of official art depicting Shinji/Kaworu from Evangelion - though it might also be too explicit, given that creator intent is sorta ambiguous.

(Oh! The piano scene?◊ Piano-playing is an innocuous activity until taken out of context.)

I haven't seen Rebuild 3.0 (and don't spoil anything!) so I can't comment to that effect. As for the series, to be honest, the anime is rather vague. Shinji does sorta react to Kaworu like he might actually be attracted to him, but he's so emotionally/psychologically jacked up that it's hard (hurr hurr) to say for certain, and Kaworu's so damn weird that you really can't pin him down either. The manga moves more toward Homoerotic Subtext on Kaworu's part, but it's still not 100% clear there either.

Here are some suggestions: Mikoto and Reishi almost kissing in K◊ Kurou carrying Shiro princess-style◊
