Well, it does. All that leaping about and stuff. You can throw the hurr durr ignorant gamer slur type stuff all you want but the game does look a bit like Titanfall. It isn't identical*, and given the write-up here:
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2014/08/11/call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-is-exactly-like-titanfall.aspx which admittedly has a clickbaity kind of title, seems to be a bit better in how it approaches things.
- It isn't identical. Just thought I would repeat that. Just in case, like.
I take it the folks at Game Informer never played Halo: Reach or Halo 4 or Hell going back further the old Tribes games.

"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."Meh, I actually like Titanfall, and I doubt that I'll really play the multiplayer anyway.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Tribes was my first thought, not Titanfall
Oh really when?Guess it's a case of Older Than They Think.
Also, I don't know if it is due to the bad Youtube quality, but so many commentators are saying that this game looks exactly like every other COD game, and looks last-gen. Hate Dumb or no?
I think they are only judging that by the shooting, the jumping looks more Halo-ish or Tribes to me then Titanfall. Titanfall had flat out parkour with a jetpack so they are not really comparable. The jumping atleast would make things more interesting but it's still not on my Must buy if I could list.
Yeah, if we are going to compare the two, Titan Fall is more focused on parkour movement, chaining together wall jumps, wall runs and the like in order to quickly traverse the map. Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare is all about using double jumps and boosts in order to get the drop on the enemies.
Both are unique in that case.
Also, while some are mixed in terms of impressions(though this guy didn't really seem to be using the boosts properly), the buzz overall from those who have played the game have been pretty positive. Even people who have hated the series were impressed by what was shown. What say you guys?

Also, Gamespot notes the similarities and differences to Titan Fall:
New Single-Player footage!
As linear as the campaign may look it can't be denied it looks bloody gorgeous.

When life gives you lemons...ask for oranges, they taste better.Yep.
Personally I like how the Call of Duty games are going with cutscenes now, rather than exposition in the loading screens.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.That trailer was awesome. Especially the bits near the end where the protagonist saved that cop's life only to see one of his pals take a bus to the face and get thrown over the edge of the newly smashed bridge. That made me actually physically recoil my head backwards.
So I'm guessing that you'll start out working for Atlas, but go over to a competitor when Atlas tries to take bet the U.S or the world?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.It looks like it. No Campaign For The Wicked, after all...
Recent trailer summarizing the multiplayer additions!

Oh really when?...Call Of Duty now has Grifball.
You had my attention. Now, you really have my attention.
Pretty excited for this. I'm getting a PS 4 in the next couple of months, so it will be nice to have a good multiplayer game to play on it. Still disappointed Kevin Spacey isn't the player character, though.
What makes a good man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?Still holding out on Spacey turning into a Senator Armstrong-esque boss at the end.
Oh really when?At which point he adopts a southern drawl and starts dropping lines like, "I have zero tolerance for betrayal, which you will soon indelibly learn" and "I cannot abide useless things" while fighting you in a mech suit.

"Nanomachines son!"
You know, when they release the inevitable TV ad for this game, I hope they go back to this style:
Seriously, that was one of the best game ads ever imo.
DYUR HUR NOW IT LOOKS LIKE TITANFALL
