So-so, I would say. Somehow, it doesn't seem very "pimped out" at all.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanA screenshot of the day at the races may be a better alternative, every dress there is pimped out.
Also, does anyone else find the art there vaguely disturbing? Between the expressions, mini-Eliza, the leering guy in the corner, and the total absence of black haired people, it seems kind of uncanny.
Actually harder than I thought, these were all I could find. At the races alone and with Rex Harrison◊. Edit: Rex and Audrey sans watermark.
Oh, and a a fascinating fascination. (and yes I know hats don't count for this, I just liked the pic.)

Also, the OP suggestion is used in a similar way on Mayfair already.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat first one works for me.
3.1 is ok. (3.2 is fine as well, but it has a watermark.)
Without bothering to look for an image and cross referencing for duplicates with other listed examples... 3.1 is good enough.
8.2 is nice, good costuming for a play.
Sorry about the watermark in 3.2, I found one without it and put it into 3.3.
That middle blue dress would be great.
The middle, blue one in #10 is great.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.10 middle is the most Pimped Out one of all the suggestions, so it gets my vote:
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWow, that's fantastic.
Awesome
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Pimpin'.
Check out my fanfiction!Good enough. It's up, the tag's adjusted, and I've added the image and artist links. Caption or no?
Nah. It stands on its own.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I lean toward no caption, too.
Agree, no caption needed.

No caption, and this seems like enough consensus to me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat dress and that pose are louder than any caption should be anyway.
Check out my fanfiction!Since the artist is on deviant art, shouldn't you ask their permission?

New theme music also a boxBecause we aren't using the whole image, it isn't strictly necessary. However, it would be good to link back to the source.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Per our copyright rules, we don't technically have to get permission anymore unless the artist specifically requests it for their work(s). As a courtesy, if we use a dA work as a page pic we link back to the actual work and the artist's page so it doesn't look like we're just stealing their work.
Already done.
Locking up.
Pimped-Out Dress currently doesn't have an illustration, ostensibly because any decent illustration can go in one of the subpages instead. So to actually add an illustration to the main page, why not pinball?
Here is the backglass for Mayfair, a Spiritual Licensee of My Fair Lady, with two instances of Eliza Doolittle's dress from the Ascot Racecourse scene:
Mayfair backglass◊
I think a cropped version of this image would work, and since there isn't a "Pinball" subpage for Pimped-Out Dress, it doesn't conflict with any other media examples.
Thoughts?
