It would be interesting to hear Idina's reaction to that guy's analysis...

But instead, Another parody

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

This... might be a good source for a mashup

Sorry, it was just too hilarious to let pass.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Anyone else find it funny that a villain song (sort of) is the best received song in the movie, but is also super famous despite that?

Nah. Villain songs are often popular. Be Prepared, Poor Unfortunate Souls, Hellfire, etc.

Besides, Let It Go has really nothing villainous about it. It doesn't even come close to Then Let Me Be Evil.

[up][up][up]If someone can pull it off without making it sound horrible, I'm all for it.

It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.

[up][up]More like, "then let me be a Reclusive Artist by myself". It's almost a Tim Burton plot, except the excentric and abhorrent family member who's actually an asset" i.e. "subversion of Black Sheep" is split into two.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

I know villain songs are popular, but they don't win awards like Let It Go did.

And likewise it wasn't a villain song. A villain revels in how they can hurt people. Elsa is celebrating because now she can be herself without hurting anyone (or so she thinks.)

Now it actually IS a villain song!

One last word of advice now that we're all full of Let It Go remixes forever.

[up]See that's the kind of hammy acting that sort of works in 2D but not in 3D; it comes off as... physically impossible, or, at least, exhausting. I think that was a problem even with Frozen; the way Anna seemed to have heft and weight and everything and the way she jumped and swinged and slided all over the place without breaking a sweat... that was insane.

Little kid Anna was able to jump pretty high too. Though I don't think Anna does any more acrobatics after "First Time in Forever". Not sure if it's just a 3D thing. Even Tarzan's vine-leaping felt too quick at times.

The way she handled wolves, the way she punched a full grown man off a ship- there's speculation that Anna has super-strength.

Said grown man was no slouch either. He's a Bad Ass in his own right. And he can follow Anna on her acrobatics.

I could see Anna having super-strength. That wouldn't really surprise me too much... tongue However, the theories about fire powers are a little much...

Yeah, "Let it Go" is certainly everywhere now. It's a nice song.

However, the fact that it uses a certain clichéd four-chord progression makes me question its acclaim and overplayedness just a little.

Someone in this cafe just burst out singing Let It Go. There was an immediate reaction from others of "Yeah! Whoo!" and "Noooo! Stop!!"

[up][up]That's exactly the sort of problem I have with this song. Those damned four chords of pop. Perhaps this is why I admire people who take the song and mix it up in some of the most incomprehensible ways possible.

In other words: Let It Go Youtube Poop

Elsa Lets Her Sanity Go Warning: sensory overload.

That was very good and hardly nonsensical. I especially loved when her "sexy bedroom eyes face" of right before she closed the door was superposed with Careless Whisper. I mean that expression had no business whatsoever being where it was.

Aw, man, remember that face Nala made in Can You Feel The Love Tonight? That was a sexy face at a very sexy time. Especially in French:

Okay, then I guess the second one I linked is more nonsensical.

That second one made my brain let go of my eyes... I'm going to have some very weird dreams tonight.
