So it's a guy with a black spiky sitar? Evil-looking, but does not demonstrate it's use as a weapon.

So I give you I-no garroting Order-sol with her guitar strings.

This thread should be titled "Suggestion".

[up]Will holler for a mod to change it, oops.

Also available I-no's standing dust.

Sadly, the animation where she shoots lightning from her guitar also contains a Panty Shot, or I would suggest that also.

The first suggestion is Instrument of Murder; Musical Assassin is people using the actual music to kill, not the instrument or a function of such. I'm not really sure what's happening in the second pic; did she conjur a fish?

[up][up]The use of "musical instrument" is not visible.

Tried to find a screenshot of Demyx using his Sitar in battle, but only found one somewhat decent image. He's not attacking at the moment though, so it might not be obvious enough that it's illustrating a Musical Assassin rather than Instrument of Murder.

I agree with the Dynasty Warriors idea. It sets up a noticeable difference between using the instrument as a weapon by hitting them and playing an instrument to attack with the noise it makes.

I'd really like to use the example from Kung Fu Hustle, but I can't find a good picture. It's such an awesome action sequence, that I think it would be worth getting a screen grab.

I see a three-panel image of a man with a machete getting a large metallic pipe dropped on him.

I don't get the connection. I'm guessing it's an organ pipe, but that strikes me as a tenuous connection (and more Instrument of Murder or Improvised Weapon).

The Kung Fu Hustle one would be perfect.

I just don't think of Demyx as an assassin. Which is why I've never liked him as the image. I'll look around though and see if there isn't some clearer KFH image.

I'm not crazy about these, but...

^^ The first one is a view from above. The assassins strum the guqin (large harp thing) and semi-invisible blades shoot from it. Great example, bad pics; last time around I tried to find frames from the same source for this, but came up empty.

Here is 10.2:

[up] Just for clarity's sake, the first was the only one that was present when I commented.

Still, that, combined with the other shots from not-above, does clear it up a bit... but it seriously looked like a pipe was falling on the guy's head, not a birds-eye shot at all. Gonna have to give it a [tdown] for clarity reasons. (Not sure about the other two yet.)

Just for clarity, I am voting down 8 for being far too dark.

[up]That can be fixed, so any other reasons for [tdown]?

Yes I don't think there is a single frame or series of frames from Kung Fu Hustle that would be clear as still(s). I like the Flash/Fiddler one though.

Dammit is the contraction of damn it. Damnit is incorrect.
