General Kingdom Hearts Fanfiction Thread

I don't like any of the RP forums because they try to limit you too much like only when you have 500 posts you can have a character with a Keyblade.

I think that's dumb.

What forums are these?

Kingdom Hearts RP.net I believe?

They also try to pull BS logic on not getting high level spells at age 15 even though canon characters did exactly that.

Not to mention trying to force to be relatively meh so we aren't OP when EVERYONE canon character and their mothers ARE.

Might as well start my own thing...

The closest thing to an RP I ever bother with is Questing. And I haven't ever done one for KH.

....yet. I still have that "Shinn Asuka gets dropped into BBS" idea running around somewhere in the back of my head...

So some recent conversations I've participated in had me thinking: Do you guys know of any good fics that involve Star Wars in some fashion? We're probably not going to get it in the games anytime soon because EA has exclusive rights to make games with the license, but it'd fit right in.

This idea is good, you just need to watch SEED Destiny.

I really don't want Star Wars in KH. Mainly I fear that they'll make Han Solo a smuggler in name only.

And here are the next two New Organization Members:

III: The Starscream and general Gihren Zabi expy. Unlike Gihren, he fully believes in the Engima as the Master Race and is the only one who tolerates VII's antics (torture and general sadism). III is an utter Yan Dere for II and every one knows it. He uses lightning and twin claws but I'm thinking switching it to poison.

IV: The Dragon to I and II, which she accepts with a smile on her face. She's very honorable and acts with dignity of a knight. She hates III and the feeling is mutual. She uses a sword and shield combo and uses light magic. She fights like The Warrior of Light. She's also crushing on XII hard and she's Tsun Dere for him.

Seems pretty consistent with the films. The only time I ever really recall him actually doing any smuggling was in A New Hope, which was transporting Luke, Obi-Wan and the droids to Alderaan.

Anyway, I feel like I need character designs for these . They're shaping up pretty well, I think.

Okay, let me rephrase that: I'm afraid they'll make the 'Han shot first' BS a thing.

That's really not all that important.

Hell, they don't even have to show that scene at all.

If I was writing it, I'd say something like "there was a sudden burst of blaster fire, and Greedo keeled over dead." No reference to who shot first.

I'll just have Sora and the SI talking while Han gats the son of a bitch.

Honestly, it's a debate that doesn't really interest me. Who cares if Han shot first? I find that very little of his character rides on that scene, besides establishing that he's got a bounty on his head.

Easy solution to that problem: use the prequel trilogy, where he doesn't appear.

No, it does. Or at the least it gives Han some depth on what he's willing to do to survive in a Black and White world. Which also gives it some Gray as well.

I would rather nail my dick to a burning log then use the prequel trilogy

Just Think of the Potential!! If you used the prequel trilogy, you'd have a totally valid excuse for Sephiroth to perform a Colony Drop on Jar-Jar!

I think the fact that he's a smugger and Only in It for the Money establishes that just fine, personally, but whatever.

Although I'll grant that that wasn't only time he shot first...

Use the Clone Wars so everybody is using their best version of their Prequel portrayal, plus you get everybody as competent.

Also it means using Grievous and/or Maul as bosses.

If someone's going to kill Jar Jar, it's gonna be me. It's going to be like DIO bullying Senator Wilson chasing the Joestars.

Okay, my psychotic rage with Jar Jar Binks aside, I'm still doing episode IV. All I need to now, is to somehow tie in a character with Obi-Wan Kenobi for him to request help. The people include: Yen Sid, Mickey and a much older Warrior of Light.

Obi-Wan seems like he'd be in the same generation as Xehanort and Eraqus.

That in mind, seems legit for Mickey to both know of him, and to try and seek his aid/advice.

I'd go with Yen Sid, personally.

Also, don't include Jar Jar just to kill him off - I'm not fond of the character myself, but that seems far too mean-spirited.

Yen Sid makes more sense.

Also, agreeing that including Jar Jar just to kill him off is uncalled for.

Yeah. At least give him a character arc before you kill him in a blaze of glory.

I'm not using Jar Jar unless it's an short joke story.

Yen Sid it is, then. I was actually going to have the events of Episode III be part of the catlyst on why Yen Sid is retired.

Oh and since Ivalice and Mysidia is a thing, during a Time Skip, will it believable if I and all my party members go there to seek the best of the best to train them?

Without knowing a lot about FFXII, I don't see why not. Especially if there's a timeskip.

Btw, I need feedback on two things.

First, what should Kairi's Glider look like? Scooter? Something else? Riku's is like a hoverboard, so I don't want too much overlap.

Second... was thinking that after Syndrome loses the remote in the Omnidroid skirmish, to have him sic Heartless on it to a) keep it distracted from him. However, I had another thought... what if the H Eartless wound up corrupting its core outright? They seem to do something similar to Baymax in KH 3, and having a darkness-high Omnidroid might make for an interesting fight... and keep Syndrome relevant, as I'd like him and Lexaeus to have a proper boss fight while the Parrs + some of the other heroes duke it out with the 'bot.
