Saw the Trailer at the Amazing Spider-man 2 viewing. I think they gave away their best joke.

I actually liked Ted, but I think I'll pass on this one. Seems a little too stupid.

[up]I'm the reverse, I didn't like Ted when it turned into this weird stoner culture movie, but this one looks like it could just be simply funny and Neil Patrick Harris in the movie helps that.

I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.

I will pick it up in the dollar theatre. Shouldn't be long for that.

Managed to watch it.

Words cannot describe how hard and how often I laughed during this movie.

Seriously, I almost thought I was going to die laughing.

Also, did anyone catch Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown, Gilbert Gottfried as an Abraham Lincoln impersonator, and Jamie Foxx as Django in this movie (without looking at the TV Tropes page)?

[up]Those cameos were kind of obvious and in-your-face.

Saw it last night. While I admit, I laughed a bunch, there were also tons of misfires. Additionally, the plot is too cliché to be engaging (and there aren't enough jokes surrounding the plot-related scenes to make them work in the context of the movie), Seth Mac Farlane is a bland leading man who plays an asshole "Nice Guy" character, and the film as a whole is unbelievably sexist, maybe the most sexist flick I've seen since that last porno I watched in a long time.

So... pretty much exactly as expected.

As long as it doesn't have any rampant filibustering against religion and conservatism that grinds the plot to a halt. Because Seth just doesn't know when to let a gag die. He just drags it on. And on. And on.

Finally watched it and I take back everything negative I said about the trailer. This movie is funny and awesome. Almost every joke was great, and Django at the end was badass.

But, well time to put on the nerd hat. Doc shouldn't have been in the movie since he went back to 1885 and the film is set in 1882.

The movie was fairly entertaining. Given I was not expecting much out of it it was able to surprise me. Even my wife who is not fan of Seth's work was amused a bit by it.

Ooh, better give this a look. This does look like an excellent movie to watch with my brain turned off.

Nah, it's meh. If you wanna watch a Seth Mac Farlane property that badly, just watch Ted.
