OK, how on earth can you make that assertion? The word egregious is used almost as much as blatant on the internet these days.

x3 Tumblr's TOS tends to have a lot of jokes in it. It's worth a laugh.

Egregious, albeit not as common as on the Internet, came from Real Life. As odd as it may seem.

Yeah, egregious is by no means a TV Tropes specific term. It appears on SAT tests, after all.

This just in: Every time someone uses the acronym TV, they are making a reference to our website!

I always thought that our use of "egregious" was a reference to the Tumblr terms of service?

The last time I saw this level of Fan Myopia was the time when Just A Face And A Caption images were allowed.

I'm not sure there's really a call for everyone to pile on the OP and make snide comments. Correcting them I understand, firmly if they don't get it, but some of the stuff in here strikes me as a bit rude.
