WMG the sound power is burned into his hands, but only works when he's playing air flute. (I.e., like air guitar, but mimicking putting a pipe in his mouth. Not that doesn't anyway...)

"Show us the Galaxy Warp."What if the Reverse Flash that fought Barry and raced him was Wells when he was younger and it was before he got stuck in the past?
He read about his fate in the future and tried to help his future self that is in the past by giving him the Tachyon device.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureOr he's still a red herring and simply another speedster aiming to jumpstart himself via Flashes
...*still considers it possible**is a suspicious person*
"You can reply to this Message!"Yeah, they are laying it on so thick that Wells is the Reverse Flash, I half expect there to be a huge twist over it to be honest.
He gets so obvious as the story goes on that I keep thinking it won't be him.
Or they could pull a The Spectacular Spider Man on us, and put up so many Red Herrings (including one person who really was the culprit at a later point) that they have us second guessing if what they did in the comics is how things will go down.
For those who don't know, The Spectacular Spider Man made me doubt that Norman Osborn was the Green Goblin (or at least had me wondering if maybe he hadn't done it yet) by putting Harry in the Mask (since Harry did become the Goblin later on), and even having the two appear in the same place at multiple points. There were possible explanations, but for a while I really did wonder if they were going to have Osborn be the Goblin at all in that version, right up to the point that someone finally unmasked him.
So is Wells the Reverse Flash, and they are showing us all this, and using our knowledge of Comics to bluff us into thinking he's not the Reverse Flash, or is he really someone completely different?
.......I don't really know, so I'll just see how it all plays out.
One Strip! One Strip!I really hope they thoroughly thought about the implications of having Wells as the villain, considering it is a recurring theme in most of the Stingers. They will have to explain why he considers it so important for the Flash not to "disappear" from the future lines. And why he bothered showing up at Christmas (I hope it was not only to "motivate Barry").
Maybe as he's "corrupting" Barry, Barry is slowly making harrison a better man as well.
I thought about it and they probably locked PP up because he knows Star Labs has some connection to the Flash. If word of that gets out people will probably start getting suspicious that Barry is the Flash.
Vito D'Ambrosio reprises his role of Tony Bellows from the original series.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureSo, a Youtube comment I saw pointed out something very interesting that I hadn't noticed about the scene where Wells and the cops confront the Reverse Flash.
Wells specifically pointed out Eddie by surname, and asked him of all people to read RF his rights. He could've said "read him his rights, gentlemen," or - if he wanted to point out one - it would've made a lot more sense to ask Joe to do it, but no: he specifically asked "Detective Thawne" by name to do it (to Eddie's surprise, a bit), essentially telling Reverse Flash who he was before the fight started, without seeming like he was.
That's a really cool detail.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. Finally got around to watching the latest episode.
Damn Morena Baccarin is in both currently running DCTVERSE shows? She just needs to be cast in one of the Marvel Netflix shows now and she'll be everywhere.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsWait.
I know she's in Gotham, but where is she in this?
Or has she been on Arrow?
And that detail about the Reverse Flash fight was interesting as well. I did miss that.
One Strip! One Strip! She's Gideon, aka the computer Wells uses to see the future.
So next week is the Peek-A-Boo episode, eh? Looking forward to that.
I'm a bit bugged about Linda Park (seriously, it's not like Barry doesn't have other love interests they could've used), but I'll get over it.
Admittedly, if they did adapt Wally as Kid Flash eventually, it'd be interesting if they also adapted Frances Kane with him. Though that might end up a bit similar to what they're doing with Ronnie.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Peek-a-boo. I see you.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! So as I understand it, Comics Peek a Boo was a bad case of Then Let Me Be Evil type Anti-Villain.
Did Barry or Wally or whoever ever feel bad about forcing her into crime?
Did they even realize what they did?
One Strip! One Strip!Oh yeah. Sound waves. Makes sense that Cisco would end up modifying Hartley's inventions.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Considering who we know Cisco is, yeah.
Him being good with sound waves makes sense.
Edit: Damn. That was a close one. Barry almost became the fastest cripple alive.

One Strip! One Strip! That sounds like he knew what faster than a speeding bullet means.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Drunk Caitlin shenanigans, ahoy!
Barry's "not much of a singer." Right.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Caitlin should be drunk more often. She's a fun drunk.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. They need to have a musical episode. If they do eventually crossover with Supergirl they need that episode to be a musical.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureTo heck with Batman. Flash doesn't need to drop people off of buildings to interrogate them.
Though it helps.
And again, this series loves its Adaptational Villainy. Peek-A-Boo isn't as ruthless as Hartley was made, but it's still noticeable.
Ah, so they're doing the role reversal thing with Iris.
It strikes me that that conversation at the end between Barry and his father would've been pretty awkward if Barry actually wasn't the Flash.
GRODD GRODD GRODD GRODD GRODD!

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Looks like Grodd is going to be as Cerebus Syndrome inducingly brutal as his comics version.

Yeah, when PP was locked up in there I suddenly thought: "I wonder what they're doing about food and sewage in there." Which a scene of Cisco having to carry down some food trays would be pretty funny.
Hmm... so Wells can falter if he over uses his power. Yet after that episode... seems like Wells would have faltered and fallen while racing Barry.
So who's placing bets on whether Evil Flash is present Wells or a future Wells?
YAY! MORE FIRESTORM! SOON SOON SOON SOON SOON
(also, YAY! confirmation that they kept his transmute! and Yay! for Jason!)
