A Match Made in Stockholm: using Stockholm Syndrome (a prisoner falls in love with their captor) to get two characters together.
Stockholm Shnozzing: One of the two characters does a [Face-Heel or Heel-Face] Turn to allow the two to get together. No indication that Stockholm Syndrome needs to enter into it at all.
And after reading it more closely, I move that it be cut rather than simply renamed. It's very badly defined, and as it stands, I'm not sure that it's a trope.

From A Match Made in Stockholm: Whether or not initially they are on opposing sides depends, but it normally ends with either one of them defecting to the "correct" side. So it certainly doesn't preclude the Foe Yay Heel–Face Turn... tough to say since SS is so ill-defined.

I was thinking how this is just A Match Made in Stockholm but more specific.
I've seen "shnozz" (sometimes spelled differently) used to mean "kiss" before. But I don't think this is a trope.

Judging from the examples, this is supposed to be primarily a fanfic trope. Even knowing that, it doesn't make much sense; certainly the description is poorly written, and the name is stupid.
This should be done over through YKTTW if someone can find anything tropeworthy here that isn't already covered by Draco in Leather Pants, Foe Yay and Stockholm Syndrome, but I doubt that there is.

The trope is poorly written and poorly named, but I can't help but think that "Redemption/Corruption" leads to romantic/sexual involvement between former enemies is a concept that need not be limited to fanfiction.
True, but is there anything in the the trope as currently written that will be usable as a basis for that?
My general feeling has always been that, if there's a junk trope that might have a real concept buried in it, it's better to just take that concept to YKTTW then try and rework the existing nontrope, especially if the existing name is no good.
Weirdly, this page is old enough to have an archived discussion. Which also wonders whether it should say "snogging" not "shnozzing".
