Oh boy is Batman #39 causing some commotion

For those not reading here's the gist: Bruce and Diana are trapped in another dimension where time moves differently than in "our" reality. What is mere hours on Earth is ten years where Bruce and Diana are. Bruce and Diana are sitting at a fire and expressing worry they'll never return home. The comic ends as they lean in for a kiss and then fade to black.

Yeah, and King's been catching fire from fans accusing him of plagiarizing a Joe Kelly Superman/Wonder Woman story from eighteen years prior, though King denies this and says he was inspired by "Death Takes A Holiday". I doubt anything will happen despite the cliffhanger, but...man, Diana's still trying to recover from that "Superman was Easy" depiction by Rucka, and now this. DON'T. DATE. TRINITY. Diana is up there with other DC characters where only like a handful of people can Write them properly 'Hawk & Dove and Hawkman come to mind when it comes to renowned writers just struggling with them'

It comes off Really cheap that Diana is reduced to 'the my close female friend I may have had feelings for a long time ago but now that I'm committing to a relationship we need to square things up' story angle

Especially after the wonderful double date with Lois and Clark but here Diana doesn't even mention Steve, Diana and Bruce's friendship isn't on display its... Diana's just the temptation now

I wasn't even mad at Titan #19 despite the poor justification of its plot progression

After the the Double date this issue just pissed me off...

I expect part two will have one or both deciding this would be a BAD idea.

I mean I like the Bruce/Diana ship but isn't he engaged to Catwoman?

Yeah, in the recent Tom King run of Batman Bruce propose toe Selina. I think it was after the whole story arc with Bane and before the War of Jokes and Riddles arc of said run.

Took him long enough. They had better let them tie the damn knot and not let any contrived BS get in the way. Then again, this is Bruce. Of course they will.

For Bruce and Selina getting married I hope that leads to Helena Wayne being born and showing up in something like Batman Beyond.

In King's second Batman annual, you see Bruce and Selina growing old together and Helena is now Batwoman

That's cool I have to find that or wait for it to be collected in trades.

Helena will be born... but due to Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome

somehow she'll end up being 16 before Damian can ever escape being 13 and short

I mean Damian and Emiko WERE the about same age now she's two years older then him
