Boo. Bad image. Toss it.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't get it. At all.
Check out my fanfiction!Pull it. It's neither example nor illustration of the trope.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Previous thread. Image was added without discussion.
EDIT: D'oh, forgot to put "Pull."

Terrible image that illustrates nothing. Pull.
Yeah, that's a quick pull if I saw one. None of the options from the last thread seem suitable so back to BUPKIS.
What if we used a obviously non regulation macro image of some random hot girl? Caption could be, "The rules state no macro images but she's too hot to care."
Or something like that. Just a thought.
Interesting...probably won't fly but I'll suggest it to the rest of the staff and see what they think.
Can you bring them here, instead of shifting the discussion elsewhere, please?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWere you talking to me? What are you referring too?
Something like this, I can change it to whatever. The caption could be, "Never mind the JAFAAC rule!"

That ... works. Maybe change the end of the caption to "but she's so beautiful we'll let it slide this time."

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it. That looks awesome. And I love the idea. Did you just make that?
Wait. I see how you did that. But could we get rid of that URL?

Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.I like that (preferably with the URL cropped off the bottom, but that's a small detail). There is precedent for an image macro on a page where it wouldn't normally be allowed (YKTTW Bump). I would like to know what Eddie thinks.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Seems OK for me, especially with that caption.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSo I cropped the url and is this the macro caption and font you guys want?
What about the regular image caption?

We really don't need a caption on top of a caption. Your second caption is too dense to see well. Either make it two lines, or use the first caption.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Well, I'm all ears people. Just decide on the whole caption, and ill add it and it will fit.
Don't be deterred by size or width. I can chop it to size outside of the Demotivation maker.
Both combined.

I don't know...
That one is even better.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI would change the words MACRO IMAGES to DEMOTIVATORS, because that image is in the style of the latter.
Also, the expression is "couldn't care less", but that sentence fragment can go away anyway, leaving: "DEMOTIVATORS are not allowed on TV Tropes, but she's so beautiful we'll let it slide... this time."
Also also, if used it should have a hidden note that says "please don't add a caption".

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. That version works best. I pinged Eddie but I dunno if he has looked at this or not.
I love the latest suggestion.
Text in 22 works best.
I also think TV Tropes-specific demotivators are okay, as it's obvious they're created for the site rather than grabbed semi-randomly from somewhere.
Check out my fanfiction!
Okay, at first I was about to ask if the page image could be sourced, but then I realized I shouldn't bother, because it's a very poor image anyway. Honestly, it's entirely dependent on the caption, and even with it is barely an illustration.
I think this trope would be better off pictureless, unless we can find a real winner.
