You're bringin' it back?!? ALRIGHT!!!
GIVE ME YOUR FACEHopefully I do a better job this time
Good to be backPILOT SUBMISSION FORM
- Name: Kavo Gladius (Nickname: Kav)
- Appearance: Somewhat muscular build, yet still kind of slender. Yellowish eyes. Dark brown hair. Bionic left hand.
- Background: German by descent. Had a sense of honor from a young age, but realizes that pragmatism is sometimes the best option. Lost his left hand in an accident involving a fencing foil, a fence, three apples, and a stuffed animal. Fascinated by robotics and physics.
- Abilities: Excellent problem solving, pretty steady left hand (as far as bionics go), Agile
Notes: Operates extremely recklessly under severe pressure. (As in, "Ascended absolutely surrounding him and also eating him mech piece by piece" severe.) Known to pushing himself to the utter limit, if it's needed.
GRIMM
Shardknight
- Appearance: A slender, elegant machine. Arms and legs are rather blade-like. Head, torso and booster units are highly reminiscent of the fictional machine known as "White Glint". Shoulder plates and "blade" edges are highly reflective. Blue-green accent colors. Nearly 23 feet tall. Covered in decorative designs, which are worn from the various battles the mech has been in.
- Description
- WEAPONS
- Bladed Limbs: Shardknight's legs and feet are reinforced and sharpened in such a way that they slice through flesh with minimal damage to the mech.
- "Gamma Option" Linear Cannons: High-intensity, shoulder-mounted plasma cutters. Fires off in the classic "Dead Space" Line-Pattern. Excellent for armored targets, less effective on flesh.
- Mk.4 Flare-Pattern Disabler: Disablers are powerful devices used for temporarily stunning an opponent. Flare-types are recognized for their distinctive and blinding flash of light. The Mk.4 mixed this with a deafening noise for extra stopping power. Head-Mounted.
- "Fragmentor" Comboweapon: An interesting mix of Shockwave Generator and Dual Gatling guns, the Fragmentor fires out fletchette-like spikes. The weapon can be overcharged for a shockwave which knocks back most enemies (Depending on what it is).
- HARDWARE/SOFTWARE/UTILITIES
- Mk.9 Saphire-rank Light Armor
- Quintuple-Point Relay System: allows for a higher limit to the pilot's ability to move
- Holo-HUD: provides extremely high quality and easy-to-see readouts of a mech's status
- Hyper-Modular AI: Customizable to what a pilot wants... and his mech's limits. Extra "pieces" tax the electronics systems more and more.
- Experimental Cold Fusion Engine
- WEAPONS
(Any suggestions?)

"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousHey, Omega, can I ask you, if you're even going to do it, to cut back on the fourth wall stuff? It's nothing personal, I was just wonder if you could dial it down a bit.
Good to be backyeah, I'm going to try for that.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousOkay, thanks dude.
Good to be backNo problem.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousBump.
Good to be backAlright, Vphantom is my right hand man/co-gm.
Good to be backYep... In any case, you asked me about world-building, so I think it would be appropriate for us to discuss it here, so players can also provide feedback and ideas.
We could start by listing the ideas you already have, so I could determine what works, what needs to be refined, and what needs to be discarded.
"It's better to burn out... THAN TO FADE AWAY!"Updated my pilot's form.
What do you think?
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousAccepted, @V, I think we should probably wait until we get more people interested in this before we world build.
Good to be backI think it would be important to decide how someone becomes an Ascended and more information regarding the mechas. Is this Real-Robo, or could someone just come along with an amorphous metal blob that commands lightning as their death machine? Though I would like to suggest the possibility that humanoid Ascended aren't fully "matured" in comparison to all the giant behemoths.
"The Omniverse is the collection of all possibilities, and all possibilities must eventually come to pass."So, I just wanted to poke and see if this is still happening. Cause if it is, I'd be interested in joining. The idea of getting involved in some Mech RP really appeals to me, and I'm getting a bit excited at the idea.

I'm going to try to reboot it next year, but yeah, I agree.
Good to be back"Next Year".
2014?
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousYeah...Though might do it sooner.
Good to be backOkay, just making sure you meant that and not a full year from now.
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousScrew it, I'm making a mech Rp now. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13878685380A07456700&page=1#1 Let this rp die.
Good to be backSo, Are we using that thread for submission or this one?
"The Stick has sentimental value. It's like an enormous, hideous teddy bear we can kill things with." -rikalousThat's the submission thread
Good to be back
Man has flourished for Millenia on this world. However, the age of man may end. A twisted phenomena has began, People have suddenly started to transform in a way that defies logic, ordinary humans, transforming into twenty two foot tall flesh engines of destruction, these have been dubbed the Ascended, as they have been called, twenty foot tall organic engines of destruction, in order to combat these...and because it was awesome, mankind created the Grimms, twenty foot tall mech suits used to defeat the Ascended, however, they are not the only threat, Anarchy has enveloped parts of the world and you must feal with cults and riots as well...Tell me, are you still prepared to deal with it?
Welcome to a reboot of the Fall Of Man! It's been a while since I killed the last one with my inexperience, so now, I'm bringing it back, true, it is a bit of a smaller scale then what I had planned originally, but it opens up more possibilities, so essentially, you play as Pilots of Grimms as you fight Ascended, pacify riots and sometimes fight cults....Just try not to become an Ascended.
Alright, so this is a game where you can play of Pilots, however, you are also able to submit and play as Ascended for you and the others to fight, however, this will have a distinct horror bent to it, and not all encounters will have you in your Grimms.
