Uh... I know I'm not the GM, but don't most RPs veto time manipulation due to it being overpowered and kind of unfair?
We can't have another magical hero. I also agree with Moerin that I'd prefer we not have a hero with time control powers.
@Karrin Blue: Your the tech based hero of the group. So technology is your archetype.
@sanojutsu: The Sigil is developed well but please get rid of four of your artifacts. I get being Crazy-Prepared but your character has enough stuff to make it hard to give the team fights against mid-level villains without resorting to The Worf Effect to give the team a challenge. Basically I don't want to make it so every guy goes after you first so they can take the rest of the team easier.
Wait, what? I was still working on my tech character. >.<
...Mind you, don't seem to be getting much inspiration for it. All my ideas for it seem kind of derivative, ahah. Maybe I should think about something else...

Kay I didn't put that the right way. The Magical Girl Karrin wrote is a tech based hero based on her powers, you can have any power source as long as you fit it into the archetypes. If you want Moerin you can have an alien beast hero, or an alien who resembles an Earth Beast, or a guy who controls ice who has powers that come from an a curse placed by their enemy.
Basically I just need the five archetypes to be represented, the rest is up to you.
Oh, I see... Hmmm...
Thinking about it more, I might be more interested in the elemental hero then. Although most of my ideas for that are magical girl-y, so I'm a little worried there might be some overlap with Karrin's character. Hopefully not, though, but we'll see.
Real Name: Eric Mandrake Blackstone
Hero Name: The Magician
Normal Appearance: Neatly trimmed black hair, a face with marks of considerable surgery, blue eyes, 6' 2, slim build usually wearing buisness suit
Hero Appearance: Hard plastic featureless white mask with openings for eyes, mouth nostrils. Black headscarf, black tuxedo, white shirt, black bowtie, black pants all of silk, red sash, also silk.
Archetype: Badass Normal
Power Source: Training, gadgets
Abilities:
- Sleight of Hand, which includes the ability to both conceal things on his person and pick pockets
- Lockpicking. In this modern age he has extended his original lockpicking ability to include electronic security systems
- Gymnastics and acrobatics
- Contortionist/Escape Artist
- Stick fighting
- Chemistry: This is for the concoction of various gasses, drugs, pyrotechnics and explosives
- Demolitions
- Martial Arts: Has trained in the Brazilian dancefighting style of capoeira
- Business. In his civilian identity he runs a moderately successful magic and novelty supply business
Equipment:
- "Magic wand": He actually has three that he keeps concealed on his person that each have a different use. One is an extendable combat baton, another shoots pyrotechnics and the third is packed with electric circuitry. It functions as an electronic jammer. Might give that one a couple more functions, not sure.
- His sash conceals a steel cord that can both be used as a garrote and a climbing rope
- Folding grappling hook: For use with sash.
- An assortment of chemicals, explosives, smoke grenades etc that varies with the mission.
Origin: Eric was a professional magician. One time he was in a night club when it burned down, killing several people and horribly scarring him. The owner, who had actually set the fire for insurance, framed eric, saying that his pyrotechnics were responsible. Eric, escaped the prison he was being held in and used his skills to clear his name and discover the real culprit. Realizing that his disfigurement and notoriety had pretty much killed his career he used contacts in the industry to set himself up in the supply end of things which has grown to be fairly profitable. he also had discovered a taste for both justice and adventure. Eventually he got plastic surgery to mostly fix his face. He also realized that he would need more skills than he had and so learned the martial arts of escrima and capoeira as well as a couple of others and the Magician was born.

Anyone still having trouble or still figuring out their character?
I'm having a little trouble with recruiting here. Anyone know anyone else who might be interested?
Hm, I think I know at least one person who'd be interested.
Exist, pursued by bearIf the sorcerer is not taken, I'd be interested.

You can still have elemental powers that come from magic, or transform into a werewolf from the full moon if it is magic your interested in.
I kind of want to be a Red Mage or Magic Knight in an RP.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseHm, Karrin pointed me toward this RP, but I'm not quite clear: which role(s) is open, ATM? What's the RP's general tone?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundTone would be serious with moments of lighthearted moments. The beast and the elemental are still open.

Hm, I might put something up, but, fair warning, army's eating my time and energy, so even if I will sign up, I might stop posting for lengths of time.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundRegarding the Elemental Hero, are you using solely the elements composing the main trope for Elemental Powers or could we call anything an Element? Furthermore, how differently do Elemental Heroes and Sorcerers function in comparison? Because if Elemental Heroes can be magic-based and aren't required to have magical objects to use their powers what stops them from being better versions of Sorcerers (aside from the whole "Opposing element greatly hurts you" thing)? Sorry if I sound stupid.
